AFTER THE CONCERT ENDED VEER TOOK KERRAT TO THEIR FAVOURITE SPOT

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, Veer sat on the edge of the old wooden bridge, his fingers gently strumming the strings of his guitar. The river flowed peacefully beneath him, its gentle murmur providing the perfect backdrop for his thoughts.

He had come here to find solace, to make sense of the whirlwind of emotions that had taken over his heart since the day he met her. Keerat – the name echoed in his mind like a melody, filling him with a warmth and joy he had never known before.

Closing his eyes, Veer began to sing, his voice carrying across the water, mingling with the soft rustle of the leaves and the gentle lapping of the waves.

"Teri meri doriyann, chalne lage hain saath saathRangon ki ye duniya, humko lagti hai ab raas naa"

The words flowed effortlessly from his lips, each note infused with the love and longing he felt for Keerat. She had come into his life like a ray of sunshine, brightening even the darkest corners of his world.

Har pal hai naya, har din nayi kahaniTere bin adhoora, mera jahan"

Lost in the music, Veer let his heart pour out all the emotions he had been holding inside. With each strum of the guitar, he felt himself drawing closer to her, as if their souls were entwined in an unbreakable bond.

"Teri meri doriyann, chalne lage hain saath saathRangon ki ye duniya, humko lagti hai ab raas naa"

As the final notes faded into the evening air, Veer opened his eyes to find Keerat standing before him, her eyes shining with love and affection.

"Veer," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the river. "I heard you singing. That song... it's beautiful but are you sure you want to get married?."

Veer smiled, his heart overflowing with happiness. Taking her hand in his, he pulled her close, feeling the warmth of her presence enveloping him like a comforting embrace.

"Keerat," he said softly, "you are the melody to my song, the rhythm to my music. With you by my side, every moment feels like a dream come true."

And as they stood there, hand in hand, watching the sun set on the horizon, Veer knew that their love would always be as timeless and beautiful as the melody of "Teri Meri Doriyann."

IN BRAR MANSION

The night was filled with a sense of magic as Veer returned home from his concert, his heart still soaring from the events of the evening. He had just proposed to the love of his life, Keerat, in front of a cheering crowd, and the memory of her tearful "yes" echoed in his mind like a sweet melody.

As Veer stepped through the door of his family home, he was greeted by the warm embrace of his parents granparents, and siblings, their faces beaming with joy and excitement.

Jaspal:"Veer! Congratulations, son!" , clapping him on the back. "We saw the concert on TV – you were amazing!"

"Thanks, Papa," replied Veer, unable to wipe the smile from his face. "I couldn't have done it without all of you."

His mother enveloped him in a tight hug, her eyes shining with pride. "We're so happy for you, beta. Keerat is a wonderful girl, and we couldn't have asked for a better daughter-in-law."

Veer's siblings joined in the celebration, showering him with hugs and congratulations.

Ekam:"When's the wedding, Veer?her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Veer grinned, feeling a rush of happiness wash over him.

Veer: "Well, we haven't set a date yet, but... we were thinking of having it soon. Maybe in a few months?"

His family erupted into cheers, already discussing venues, decorations, and guest lists.

Garry:"Let's have a big Punjabi wedding, Veer!" clapping him on the back.

Veer: "Absolutely," , his heart overflowing with gratitude and love. "I want nothing more than to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family."

And as they sat around the dining table, talking and laughing late into the night, Veer knew that no matter what the future held, he was surrounded by the love and support of his family – and with Keerat by his side, he was ready to take on the world.

IN MONGA HOUSE

Keerat took a deep breath, steeling herself for the conversation she was about to have with her family. She knew they would be thrilled, but she couldn't shake the nervous flutter in her stomach.

Keerat: "Um... Mom, Dad, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Santosh: "Of course, beta. What is it?"

Ajeet: "Is everything okay, Keerat?"

Keerat: "Everything's more than okay, Dad. It's... it's amazing, actually."

Santosh: "Well, don't keep us in suspense, dear. What's going on?"

Keerat: "You know Veer, right? Well, tonight, at his concert, in front of everyone, he... he proposed to me."

Santosh: "Oh my God, really? That's wonderful news, Keerat!"

Ajeet: "Congratulations, beta! We're so happy for you!"

Keerat: "Thank you, Mom, Dad. I... I said yes, of course."

Santosh: "Of course you did, sweetheart. Veer is a wonderful boy, and we know how much you love each other."

Ajeet: "But why do I have a feeling there's more to this story?"

Keerat: "Well, there is... We were talking about the wedding, and... we want to have it soon. Maybe in a few months."

Santosh: "Oh, that is soon. Are you sure you're ready for that, Keerat?"

Keerat: "I am, Mom. We both are. We don't want to wait any longer to start our life together."

Ajeet: "Well, if you're sure about this, then we're behind you 100%, beta."

Keerat: "Thank you, Dad. Your support means everything to me."

Santosh: "We'll help you with whatever you need for the wedding, Keerat. Let's make it a beautiful celebration."

Keerat: "That would be amazing. I can't wait to start this new chapter of my life with Veer by my side.

Seerat: looks like our little pehalwan has found her Prince charming before us

Sahiba: I'm so proud of you keerat

Sisters (excitedly joining in): "Congratulations, Keerat!"

And as they hugged each other tightly, surrounded by love and excitement, Keerat knew that with her family's support, she was ready to embark on this journey with confidence and joy.

THE NEXT DAY IN BRAR MANSION

Veer was dressing in his best punjab attire and was eager to meet Keerat's parents

Veer: "Come on, everyone, let's make sure we're all set before we head out to meet Keerat's family."

Gurleen: "Do you have everything you need, Veer? And did you remember to bring the sweets for the ceremony?"

Veer: "Yes, Mom, I've got everything. Sweets, gifts, and all the documents they asked for."

Jaspal: "And you're sure you're ready for this, son? Meeting Keerat's family is a big step."

Veer: "I'm more than ready, Dad. I can't wait to officially ask for Keerat's hand in marriage."

Gurleen: "We're so proud of you, beta. Keerat is a wonderful girl, and we know her family will love you just as much as we do."

Veer: "Thanks, Mom. I hope so."

Ekam: "Veer bhaiya, don't forget to bring back some sweets from Keerat's house for us!"

Veer: "Don't worry, I won't forget. Now, let's go make a good impression on Keerat's family."

And as they all piled into the car, excitement and anticipation filled the air. Veer couldn't wait to take this next step in his relationship with Keerat, and with his family by his side, he knew everything would go perfectly.

IN MONGA HOUSE

Santosh : "Seerat, can you please check if everything is ready? Veer's family will be here any minute."

Seerat: "Yes, Mom. Everything is set. I've laid out the snacks and refreshments in the living room."

Santosh : "Good. And did you make sure the house is tidy?"

Sahiba: "Yes, Mom. I cleaned the house this morning. Everything looks perfeantosh

Santosh : "Okay, great. Ajeet, do you think they'll like the decorations?

Ajeet: "Of course, they will,Santosh. Everything looks beautiful."

Santosh: "I just want everything to go smoothly. This is an important day for Keerat and Veer."

Sahiba : "Mom, Dad, I think I see their car pulling up outside."

Santosh: "Okay, everyone, let's go and greet them. Remember to be polite and welcoming."

Seerat: "Don't worry, Mom. We've got this."

As the Brar's made their way to the door, excitement and anticipation filled the air. Keerat's family couldn't wait to meet Veer's parents and officially begin this new chapter in their lives.

CHAPTER 4

Veer: nervously adjusting his collar "Are you sure I look okay? I feel like I'm about to perform at a concert, not propose."

Gurleen: smiling reassuringly "You look perfect, Veer. Just relax and be yourself. Their family already loves you."

Veer: taking a deep breath "Okay, here goes nothing."

[They arrive at Keerat's house, where her family warmly welcomes them in. Veer's nerves start to settle as he sees the familiar faces of Keerat's relatives.]

Ajeet: beaming "Welcome, Veer! It's so wonderful to have you here."

Veer: bowing slightly "Thank you, Uncle. It's an honor to be welcomed into your home."

Santosh: placing a hand on Veer's shoulder "Come, sit down. We have prepared a feast to celebrate this joyous occasion."

[They all sit around the table, enjoying the delicious Punjabi meal that Keerat's mother has prepared.]

Seerat: teasingly "So, Veer, when are you going to make an honest woman out of my sister?"

Veer: blushing slightly "Well, actually, I was hoping to talk to you all about that..."

[He takes Keerat's hand in his, his heart pounding with excitement and nervousness.]

Veer: "I know we come from different worlds, but Keerat has brought so much joy and love into my life. I can't imagine spending another day without her by my side. So, with your blessings, I would like to ask for her hand in marriage."

[There's a moment of stunned silence before Keerat's family erupts into cheers and applause, tears of joy glistening in their eyes.]

Keerat's Father: emotionally "Of course, Veer! You have our blessings, and our hearts are filled with happiness for both of you."

[They all gather around Veer and Keerat, enveloping them in hugs and congratulations as they toast to the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.]

7 MONTHS LATER

The vibrant colors of Punjab adorned every corner of the wedding venue, where Veer and Keerat's love would be celebrated amidst the joyous festivities. As the ceremony commenced, the air was filled with the melodious sounds of traditional Punjabi music and the sweet fragrance of jasmine flowers.

[Scene: Veer stands at the beautifully decorated altar, his heart pounding with anticipation, while Keerat, radiant in her bridal attire, walks down the aisle escorted by her father. Keerat's three sisters stand beside her, beaming with pride and excitement, while Veer's three brothers await him at the altar.]

Veer: eyes shimmering with emotion "You look absolutely stunning, Keerat. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to have you as my bride."

Keerat: smiling lovingly "And I feel like the luckiest woman to have you as my groom, Veer. Today, our hearts become one."

[They exchange vows amidst the blessings of their families and the divine presence of the Guru Granth Sahib, sealing their love for eternity. As the ceremony concludes, the celebrations continue with traditional Punjabi dances and joyful festivities.]

As the vibrant celebration of Veer and Keerat's union continued, amidst the joyful chaos, a subtle yet undeniable connection began to blossom between Veer's charming elder brother, Angad, and Keerat's spirited elder sister, Sahiba.

[Angad and Sahiba steal glances across the dance floor, their eyes locking in moments that lingered with unspoken desire.]

Angad: approaching Sahiba with a smile "You look absolutely enchanting tonight, Sahiba."

Sahiba: blushing slightly "Thank you, Angad. You're not looking too bad yourself."

[Their playful banter quickly evolves into deeper conversations, as they find themselves drawn to each other's warmth and charisma.]

Veer: noticing the budding chemistry "Seems like love is in the air tonight, huh?"

Keerat: nodding with a knowing smile "Looks like it."

[Meanwhile, Veer and Keerat exchange knowing glances, silently acknowledging the blossoming romance between their siblings.]

Angad: offering his hand "Care to dance, Sahiba?"

Sahiba: grinning "I'd love to."

[They sway together in perfect harmony, their bodies moving to the rhythm of their hearts, lost in the intoxicating magic of the moment.]

Sahiba: leaning in closer "I never imagined I'd find someone like you at my sister's wedding."

Angad: gently cupping her cheek "Sometimes, love finds us when we least expect it."

[Their dance unfolds like a love story in motion, each step bringing them closer together, until they find themselves wrapped in an embrace that feels like home.]

Keerat: whispering to Veer "Looks like there's another love story brewing tonight."

Veer: smiling "Seems like it. Looks like our families are destined to be connected in more ways than one look at Angad and Sahiba and Seerat and garry (he pointed to garry and seerat also on the dance floor ."

I loved this part. And I loved Sahan part too.tbem dancing.

Don't feel sorry about it. 🥹

Take your own time.

🥹🥹 You have already given me sooo many Veerat chapters smiley31

And I am so happy for their wedding.

We were soooo unlucky. Sahan and Serry had wedding and we ended up having drama 🥺

I still cringed the way Veer was doing sooo much drama of killing himself if he is not married to Keerat. 😔Marking the  end of Veerat.

7 YEARS LATER

Veer and Keerat built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. With their two children, Aarav and Meera, their days were a whirlwind of joy and discovery.

Every morning, the house echoed with the sound of little feet running down the hallway, eager to start the day. Aarav, the eldest, was a bundle of energy, always ready to explore the world around him. Meera, the youngest, was a curious soul, finding wonder in the smallest of things.

Weekends were reserved for family outings to the park, where they would have picnics and play games until the sun dipped below the horizon. Veer and Keerat cherished these moments, knowing that these were the memories that their children would carry with them for a lifetime.

Despite the chaos of family life, Veer and Keerat always made time for each other. Date nights became a sacred tradition, a chance for them to reconnect and remind themselves of the love that brought them together in the first place.

Veer and Keerat were not the only ones who had started a family, Angad and Sahiba got married and are expecting their second child, Seerat and Garry also got married and are expecting their first child.

As the years passed, their family grew, but their bond only strengthened. Together, they faced life's challenges head-on, knowing that as long as they had each other, they could overcome anything. And so, surrounded by love, Veer and Keerat lived happily ever after, their hearts full and their spirits bright.
