I just joke that I want chaand taare but reality yahi hai ki an itv show becomes boring after kids unless they are the reason of conflict/reason of leads coming together . I feel they lose the spark and their conversation only revolve around kids and not themselves.

But yes in Agsatya Imlie scenes case the baby trope would have amplified the angst between them. Agastya bore the tag of illegitimacy his whole life. His mother Meera didn't get the deserved respect in society. If same thing was to be repeated with Imlie then she would have hated Agastya and Agastya would have been in guilt that he turned out to be exactly like his father. That would have been perfect plot for angst
