Minty, I think Diljit to me represents a dream. It is a quality that might make him relatable to many. That despite all the nepotism, casting couch, groupism, and whatever other obstacles come in showbiz you can make it, as a complete outsider. I know luck and the fact that Bollywood has made a conscious decision to be more inclusive towards Sardars boosted his career to some extent. But he is known to be hardworking and he clearly is multi-talented. He did not take shortcuts or harm someone else's career to get ahead. It is the same reason why you and I root for Tripti. I also don't look at Vicky as romantically as people imply here. It did kind of annoy me because I started fighting for him to get the critics best award for Sardar Udham and just rooted for him as an actor people assumed there most be some romantic attraction. No there is an admiration for people for traits other how attractive someone is. It annoys me some people without even asking me were jumping to one conclusion. You of course made an effort to ask me. So you are good. I guess one track thinking annoys me to some extent.
