There are new Hindu parties coming up. It's not widely known, but Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha still exists. All the people associated w/ Godse are now dead, & probably deep into subsequent lives, so there's no reason to hold Gandhi's assassination against that party. Then there is Ekam Sanatan Bharat, launched last year, which just released its manifesto, & is contesting ~100 seats this year nationwide. Then there are some 50+ parties endorsed by the Shankaracharya that have pledged to ban cow slaughter.

I was never a fan of Rajiv Gandhi, & voted against his party the 2 times in life that I voted in India - 1989 & 1991. In fact, in 1991, I voted for the BJP

That said, whatever his motivations, inheritance tax was/is an evil tax, and he was right to abolish it. Anybody who supports bringing it back - be it Congress, BJP or anyone else - should be condemned for taxing the dead & depriving their next of kin of what's rightfully their's

First time I ever voted was for our PM when he was the Gujarat CM..and ever since have been voting for him and his party at centre n state levels. Yes m a Bhakt and have got many reasons to say my bhakti is justified

If they really really genuinely want to work for Hindus, do it within the Framework of BJP. At this moment they are just being a Vote Katua.

They shouldn't make an independent party and cut BJP votes until Congress is uprooted and Finished. When it will be confirmed that Congress can never win now then challenge the BJP on things they beleive. At this moment they look paid by Congress to cut votes.

P. S. This guy also got into revolutionary mindset. I will work for Hindus independently and apart from BJP. Couldn't do much. Had to issue a clarification. He is still not with BJP but he knows his work. It's attacking the opposition media and ecosystem.

How many times Ekam chu's have attacked the opposition and Ghamandiyas? All they do is attack BJP that comes vote for us, we are better Hindus than BJP.

You know why NDA is so dominant in Bihar? Even thought they don't do much for state , they dominate.

Because Congis are finished forever in state . And RJD gets ghanta on national level.

So the NDA can afford the couple fights of JDU and BJP without affecting them much.

My bottom line: don't be a locked vote for any party, be it BJP, Shiv Sena or anyone else just b'cos you are Hindu. That's a surefire way of being taken for granted & having your priorities pushed aside. This is not just about Hindus & BJP: in the US, conservatives used to be taken for granted by the GOP & got screwed, until Trump came along. Luckily, in the US, you have the system of primaries, where voters get to pick their candidates for various offices. Since that's not there in India, one has to pick b/w parties
