I dont think it's stupid, more naivete.

Fully agree that dialogues are badly written and make Abhira look like a fool.

But i think essentially Abhiras stance is gonna be that just because they disapprove of their daughter's choice they cant lock her up at home. Ban her from having a life and career and claim that this is the reason why women shouldn't be allowed to work.

Pyaar is out of our control so mistakes can happen but they need to deal with it maturely.

Unfortunately the timing of these dialogues and the way its coming out is making it look out of place.

And the way they have shown this is making mo sense because we saw that Abhira never approved Charus affair or her hiding it.

@bold : if this is the reason, then. And if the overall outcome of the track is charu against ruhi, then also it's good(though I don't see that happening, it would be fun if charu returns her drawing book to ruhi).

Abhira never approved charu hiding about internship also, but when time came defended her. Stealing legal documents during court case, abhira can't be blamed fully, as she came to know about it towards the end of track so no use of digging it up & making another issue out of it. But in this track, my opinion, abhira could have dealt it with more maturity, she already has experience, when charu asks for time, that time never comes, till she is caught red handed or someone exposes her secret. If not armaan she could have shared in with chachi ya madhav, they both are sensible people in that house, considering charu is immature & things could have gone real bad making it worse for the entire family.

I am not at all pleased with Abhiras dialogues but how can the other 2 be less blamed than Abhira.

I don't think Abhira is actually suggesting they get Charu Dev married. Just that they deal with it maturely but its ill timed obviously. They just found out so they are not gonna listen to her now.

And if Charu is falling for the wrong guy, is the solution to lock her up at home and put a ban on her life?!

What is worse - Abhiras naive idealistic BS dialogue baazi or the insensitive way in which Ruhi has handled this situation. Ruhi according to family is older and more mature supposedly.

Affair Charu neh kiya toh blame Abhira par kyun.

Charu is born into this family. She knows them. Yet she did what she did.

Abhira did want her to tell Armaan. She did warn her.

I think her sudden sympathy for Charu Dev is supposed to reflect her own changed feelings, her love realization toh suddenly they are giving her ridiculous dialogues.

Chachi is immature too. Shes perceptive but too emotional.

I agree she should have told someone but she gave Charu benefit of doubt. And until ganghor she was not even around. She had other things on her mind.

I think the writers are trying to show that because Abhiras in love herself now she can sympathize with Charu..

Abhira is too idealistic and kind. She doesn't really keep track of how she's been wronged by Charu and others before and blamed for Charu kaands.

I think Abhiras badbad gadbad makes her human. She's not perfect. She screws up too.plus shes young. She is allowed to make mistakes

We know her intentions are good. We know she didn't support affair with boss initially, she didn't support falling for a married man or an immoral relationship nor she did she support hiding it. She's always said- tell family and also that she cant keep the secret hidden for long. But she's also not judgemental or extremist in her behavior. She does not plot to sabotage people's lives or hold grudges. She trusts people and trusts in humanity and goodness.

No what Ruhi did is wrong. Nobody makes a scandalous announcement in front of all. She could have spoken to Armaan and Kajal bua alone or madhav/Vidya, kajal. Lets forget what we as audience know about her real intentions and assume her intentions were genuinely to protect Charu so then she should have confronted charu, told a reasonable elder so that Charu would be protected but her life would not be ruined by fufa, Kaveri anger. She knows that revealing her affair will put a dent on Charus career too. She'll get locked up at home. Announcing like this in front of full family is insensitive and cruel and utterly immature. If charu made a mistake to fall for a wrong guy, does she deserve to be locked at home like a prisoner?! And who is Ruhi to judge Charus morality . Ruhi is lusting after a married man. At least Charu knows Dev is divorced.

Abhira maybe naive and stupid sometimes but she's definitely not cruel or insensitive enough to do bhanda phod of a sensitive matter in this way. She did want to tell Armaan everything.

Infact if Ruhi is doing it for brownie points she'd got lots more if she told only Armaan and asked him to deal with it and revealed Abhira hiding it. He'd been mad at Ab and grateful to Ruhi.

But by exposing Charu in a very thoughtless way she's exposed her own unreliable and immature personality.

Unfortunately as usual only audience is seeing her evil reality and poddars are seeing her as bahu number one 🙄

I have hopes on Vidya seeing through Ruhi. Please Vidya, dont disappoint 🙏
