He used to say she will always be bhai ki biwi no matter what.

But now she's literally planning their wedding and he is going along. He almost willingly performed a ritual that only a married/to be married couple should do in a temple . She took a promise from him essentially regarding him speaking about their marriage with elders. Is he really gonna tell her that he only agreed to talk about them but not about their marriage. This is not a Court room where he can play smart and lawyer her later on saying he promised about "baat karunga" but not "what baat karunga" . Thats ridiculous.

Until recently he was very clear he had residual feelings but never any intention to get back with her.

And with time he's only supposed to feel less into her. How is the opposite happening?!

I 100% agree with this. Makers could have shown him as a spineless and guilt ridden person when it comes to Ruhi in so many ways but there was no need to show him as two timer.

For Eg. the promise could have been to support her or to take care of her or be there for her as a friend, there was no need for giving a promise to talk to Dadi Sa about their relationship.

The temple scene should not have happened.

The only plausible explanation that I think I could give of that temple scene is armaan probably was in a half conscious state - we could call it a brain fade moment ig? He seemingly was unaware of what he was doing and came back to real state only when he saw their names on the divorce papers,this is what I understood from the sudden jerk he displayed at that time.Then again the promise he made to ruhi kinda disappointed me,yeah he would be doing all this only in guilt and isn't technically in love with ruhi anymore but the real issue is with him sharing too much physical proximity with abhira.It has been 9 months to their marriage and they had a lot of moments together which neither of them took seriously (abhira has changed now tho) but since he has given ruhi the hope that they could get back together whatever be the reasons he should be loyal to her atleast.More than abhira it looks like he is cheating ruhi right now.

It is just audience/ fans assumption that Armaan is two timer. In reality both girls love Arman. And who Arman loves/ what’s on his mind is unclear. So I don’t think he’s pendulum or two timer/EMA. All these words would be apt when his intentions are clear , pretending to be loving both girls or cheating them.
