(My two cents: Akir is very naughty but he is still young. He wanted to harm Angad because Angad hit his dad for no reason. He is not territorial and won't harm kids if they get more attention from parent. He reacted to Angad assaulting his father. He is a disobedient naughty kid but he is not even 5, the Simran we know was much nicer when she was 10. She had grown up without a dad till then too, lived in an orphanage. Again Akir isn't exactly a paragon of virtue but he cannot be clubbed with Simran, she is much older. Life changes you but she was a lot more mature when she had nothing versus now when she has nearly everything.)
