What was Ranbir Kapoor doing in Roy?

No seriously I didn't understand the movie and how Ranbir chose to play second fiddle to Arjun Rampal.

Standing ovation to those who managed to finish the film. I couldn’t watch past first 10 minutes.

I couldn't finish it either

I couldn't understand it so I switched off mentally

and Ranbir playing second fiddle to Arjun Rampal

I like RK as an actor but then there are those movies of him which have made no sense to me at all...

Bombay Velvet, Besharam , Roy and even Shamshera fall under that category..

Perhaps it was a great thriller on paper with a shoddy end result; perhaps the script itself was shoddy to begin with and went to actors with abysmal script sense..

I don't know what respective actors were doing in the movie, let alone RK..

I have watched the movie without any issue when the movie was available on mobile phones. But i am very bad at remembering movie stories. So I don’t remember much. I will watch the movie again, and will tell you If I can complete it now and what is the movie is about and why RK would have chose it.

I had one issue with the movie that I clearly remember, that was the song glorifying fair skin.

I love the music album except for this particular song.

Ranbir's role was more of a extended cameo appearance like salman in KKHH.

He wasn't playing second lead.

I love ranbir in this movie. This was his era. He looked good and acted so well in all his movies. He chose a variety of work. Dunno what happened to him now

May I add the songs are amazing too

However, I absolutely love the song "khamosiyaan" from the movie..
