This Raji is from the Vel family, I'm hoping she is not shown as naive (believing Mayil's family is good) but as smart as she was before the wedding. KR are made to stand next to each other for Photo Ops and PR, nothing else. This whole thing comes across as cringe with Meena and Kathir.

Yes, Raji’s character on the whole was much better before marriage except in Kannan’s case, she got cheated. Otherwise she was feisty, bold and gave a tough fight to Kathir but now they made her a doll, blindly following what Meena says, unable to read Thangamayil’s family’s true intentions inspite of learning the lesson from Kannan, her so called ex-lover. She trusts people too easily.

One day this same Meena and Gomathi are not going to support her in the future when she continues to be naive and gets in trouble again. I hope they show her to be bold, yet dignified and loving just like how they portrayed Mullai.

Somewhere to prop up Thangamayil and all the new characters and continue to show Pandian as a patriarch, Gomathi as someone who blindly follows Pandian, the writing are losing track of original traits of the characters they set up at the beginning of the show.

Tbh, the promo with the most views is Thangamayil's intro promo at the swayamvaram, though it makes sense as it was a new character intro plus Saranya's and Chitra's fans commenting on it.

But each promo, scene, or fan pic/video of KR garners so much interest and love. I hope writers realize what the audience really wants. While they can show all couple's arcs, they cannot give all of them the same value, KR was promoted as the lead and people are expecting the same.

By far, it is the most sensible promo of all.

Just because Sharanya has acted in Vijay TV shows earlier plus she is a good friend of Chitra, has been faining some traction and fame, otherwise the second promo pf her calling Saravanan Mama was “MEH” Whereas the latest promo of Raji waiting for Kathir to come back from work and ready to serve him food has garnered more views than “Mama” promo just in 1 day.

Posting all the 4 recent promos for comparison. It is clear that KR are more popular couple amongst SM fans than ST.

Yup, you both are right. I checked it last week when Kathir giving money to Raji promo was still gaining traction. I am so happy with these stats. Those who commented that Saranya will bring the TRPs are deluded.

The song in the latest KR promo is not good. Sounds like an old IR (but not the good one) song.

While I liked Raji transitioning from avan to avar for Kathir, I did not like Meena transitioning from avar to avan for Kathir.

Also, this new promo content is similar to S1 KM content. I have no qualms about repeated content as long as they show KR together. Also that KM scene is one of my favs, just that Mullai's sari was too loud.

They telecast 6 days a week, and all they can manage is a 5-minute scene for KR. That too with omlette and bedsheet having cameo roles.

I was disappointed with the KR scene. as you said Raji pacing while waiting for Kathir to come back from wotk, Omlette, making the bed, taking the pillow and the blanket for Kathir while he was already asleep, cleaning the table after Kathir ate were shown more than their mono syllable conversation. Why this step motherly treatment towards this pair? They could have shown Kathir seeing that Raji came to cover him with the blanket and leaving from there without her knowledge🙄 That would have been nice, atleast would let us believe that he notices her concern towards him. While Raji is falling for him, all I can see from Kathir is Kadamai, Kadamai, Kadamai, nothing else He is only doing everything for her because he married her and its his duty to take care of her. Kathir gave all kinds of excises not to eat but Raji had to use Gonathi’s name to make him eat. Yet again I was surprised that he didn’t throw the Omelette on her face. Atleast previous time he didn’t know that she made the soup, thought she was reheating what his mom made before leaving to see a bride for Saravanan. But this time he probably knew Raji made it but ate quietly only because Raji used the mother sentiment card Its been almost 2 1/2 months since they married in the show, the gap between them has only reduced by a millimeter Even Saravanan who is not married to Mayil yet is getting dream sequences pf him trying to kiss her

About Saravanan-Thangamayil scene, why are they butchering Saravanan’s character? He is coming across as a cringey and desperate to get married and romance his wife ASAP

About Meena-Senthil scene, Senthil keeps promising to support Meena but never keeps up the promise in front of Pandian. This time Merna just got scolded and warned. What if she gets suspended if she takes on important days at work because Pandian insisted and manipulated her into taking leave.
What a horrible person, Pabdian is! I want Thangamayil to teach him a lesson and show how Meena and Raji are 2 gems whom Pandian mistreats.
As for the Pandian not being there in Saturday’s episode, hope we get more such episodes in the future

In short, KR scene was like watching old movies of other languages like Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam movies during BW era in Doordarshan, slow as heck Those movies had scenes where thehero or the heroine woild looking up the ceiling and the fan will be spinning for hours We got to see Raji’s bed making abilities, how well she can make an omlette and how well she can clean after dinner

The coming week will all be about Saravanan- Thangamayil engagement with plenty of their cringe romance
