I hope Akash’s character in the Sun TV show is a recurring one and not s permanent ML like you both said. That said, he is currently not getting enough SS or dialogues in PS either. Hope Akash will stick around in PS.

Shalini AKA Raji’s SS is even worse. She is made to stand like a doll and all the dialogues are given to Meena. It is either Meena or Pandian who talk the most in that house. I don’t know how and when Meena got accepted and given an upper hand over the sons and the daughters of that house as its not looking believable at all. Kathir-Raji’s story has become stagnant and nothing is happening at all.

I have also been wanting KR marriage truth to be out by now, even mentioned it in my posts in the previous pages. Cosmo-Girl is also of the same opinion too. Muthuvel should get their marriage annulled as both were forced by Gomathi to marry. She had no right make a decision atleast on behalf of Raji. If after this KR come together because they truly fell in love its a different story.

Right now with the mess they are creating with the story, pairings, scenes, show is marching towards being a disaster. How much ever Senthil-Meena and KR marriage under special circumstances, the writers cannot justify Thangamayil’s family using it against these 2 couples and show as if their Daughter is the true DIL of Pandian family.

Pandian avanoda avasara buddhiyala Saravananai paazhum kinaathula thalla poraan. Saravananoda sernthu mathavangalum vizha poraanga.

Senthil-Meena, Kathir-Raji are going to be punished by Thangamayil abd her family for no fault of theirs. I really don’t care if Pandian-Gomathi are affected, they rightfully deserve it for being horrible parents.

This family’s lies are worse than even Rohini’s lies in Siragaddika Aasai.🙄 Right from the get go, all of us here felt the family looked fishy but they have taken it too far now. The writers are destroying the sanctity and sincerity of an institution called marriage.

Saravanan and Pandian family except Meena probably is falling hook, line and sinker and no one has any suspicion other than Meena.
Thangamayil’s mom is also justifying the phrase, “aayiram poi solliyavadhu oru kalyanam pannalam” and taking it too far. They have lied about literally everything- Thangamayil’s age, education, their socio-economic status and infact have a counter argument ready yo attack Pandian family. I do not see this ending well.
I also feel this whole thing is a set up by Sakthivel and Kumaravel to take revenge on the Pandian family which if comes out will pose a problem for Raji also.

There are many in Youtube justifying all this lying and the track simply because they are Sharanya fans who want to see her in a TV show at any cost. They are trying to recreate SA (similar story and DILs are from various economic background) but have a feeling it is going to backfire here in PS.

Saravanan who already loved someone in the past, is acting as if he is in love with a girl for the first time. Like always Meena is the one suspicious and wants to inquire about the bride’s side which is a fair ask. But Panndian-Gomathi being the dumb couple won’t listen to anyone, are setting themselves up for a disaster.
When Kathir-Raji marriage truth will come out, Thangamayil and her Mom will use that as well against the 2 DILs (Meena too hid the truth) and Gomathi to tutn the family members against them.

I do not like anything about this track. There is nothing truthful and sincere about what they are showing. I hope TRP audience reject this nonsense completely. Just because someone’s favorite actress/actor is acting the fans also don’t need to justify this crap.

The worst lie was about the age! What was that even?!

Thangamayil objecting to this sham of a marriage is not enough. Makers need to show her staunchly opposing the marriage if she is to be considered a lead material like Saranya's fans assume her to be.

I still couldn't get past Saravanan's attitude here. He looks way too happy and smitten by the girl.

For any new viewer whose first episode of PS2 is this one, would fail to understand who is Saravanan's mother - Kuzhali or Gomathi. It is like Kuzhali has all the ingredients of a typical 90s MIL. How is she even Pandian Gomathi's daughter?

Naa, I don't think Vels set this up. Rather, they will mostly dig about this family first and will happily decide not to interfere or inform anyone. They would not even reveal to Palanivel or their mother and wives. Things might prove costly for Raji once their actions get revealed to Kathir. He will definitely take it badly since it was his brother's life and marriage.

Meena might find out about them, but it will probably be too late. Although, like Cosmo-Girl mentioned, I too hope Saranya's role is a cameo and this track is just a lesson to Pandian.

A small KR scene in the end - Raji caught him being happy for his mother and was quite surprised.

Thank you. I found 2 more long interviews with Akash. He is so well-spoken and informed. He was clear and articulate talking about his passion, interests, and work.

I found Shalini's interviews too. They were nice. I did notice that both her interviews were along with her husband. Nothing wrong with that but I hope they are ready for the publicity she will receive as Raji, and her fans asking for Kathir-Raji scenes, pics, and interviews. I saw how it affected Chitra in real life, and I hope these young ones are more mentally prepared for such things.

I read a few comments about how Mayil is like Mullai, her mother is like Parvathy, and how great Mayil's role is. Saranya being welcomed into PS is more for her friendship with Chitra than her acting. Her last 2 serials ended abruptly, with one telecasted for only 37 episodes.

There is too much PR and talk about her entering this serial as the main heroine. Yaaru, Saravana is main hero, vah? Which Saravana, the one who could not even frame a proper sentence while talking over the phone, and had to wait for his father to permit him to talk?

I wonder how Hema's fans feel about this considering they think Meena is the main heroine.

As you guessed, Mayil's family spotted the weaknesses of Pandian's family and are using it to their advantage. It was infuriating to hear Bhagyam insult Raji and Meena as an answer to Kuzhali's questions. At least they both are from respectful families.

Even more irritating was Pandian not saying anything. Just because his favorite son agreed to his father's arranged-wedding wish, doesn't mean the other sons and DILs should be disrespected. Gomathi is useless as always. For name's sake, Kathir is her favorite son, but all she did was force him into a wedding and distance his father from him even more.

I guess I complained too much about Meena and now as a dire consequence I have to bear Mayil and Bhagyam.

Are they really going to show a fraud family fooling a well-respected family and getting away with it? If Saravana-Mayil work out, then it seems okay to say a 1000 lies to get someone married.

Nice social message to a society that is already regressive.

Today's episode was cringee triple pro maxxx!!! I couldn't stand Saravanan's expressions and on top of that, the family teasing him.

This marriage track will go on for a while, I guess. Just hope they show some KR progression parallely, else viewers will definitely lose interest. Is the show garnering TRP anyway? I think it garnered the most TRP during and post KR marriage. Right?

But yes, it would be even more better if these two just call off this sham of a marriage and then get back together if at all they fall in love. Although, who are we even kidding?! The makers are too orthodox and narrow minded to showcase such a track! Which main leads marriage in Indian TV (incl. Tamil, hindi, marathi etc..) has been out of consent? I don't recall any serial in recent times that actually showed leads falling in love or liking each other and getting married with full consent. I am honestly tired of this non-sense.

Now, even if these two get separated, it will be post more than 200 episodes, when they start feeling for each other and the separation will be rather due to some circumstances.

Anyway, Meena and Gomathi are going to have their hands full with Thangamayil though. Raji will keep quiet bearing the taunts and insults.

Yeah, he seems pretty clear about things, is well-spoken and humble.

About Shalini, yes, I did note that too. She does all her interviews with her husband. Probably to promote and bring him in light as well. That reality show these PS2 actors participated in, even there she mentioned about her real husband sitting in the audience. I guess he accompanies her everywhere.

Well, just hope these offscreen stuffs does not spill onto onscreen as well, especially when enacting romance or love scenes and all. Viewers will also definitely expect offscreen pics and interviews of Akash-Shalini going ahead. As an actor, hope she is more flexible and open-minded about these things.
