Lover boy is very well aware of his feeling. Today he asked Jhanak too indirectly about the same. Tum pyaar karti ho kisi se aur woh Rahul nahi hai. When he got the green signal from her, he said agar pyaar karti ho to ek bar bolo mein yeh shaadi rukwa doonga.
"Arshi aisi baat nahi hai" He is just pretending in front of everyone that everything is normal in life and for him, though everyone knows about his feeling. Today for me it seem to be an indirect confession among them. Hope this comes true or am I reading too much between the lines. He wants Jhanak to accept their relation first. He has already accepted her as Jhanak Bose and Jhanak Tum mujhe chood kar nahi ja sakti.

I too feel the same way. Our Ani boy is waiting for a green signal from Js side. He knows his feelings for her but he can't do anything since J is not ready to accept it. If he does something and she retaliates saying who are you, kya haq hai aapko, aap meri Malik hai etc etc, he will have no answer to give! But I feel he shud leave his ego and just ask her straight like our Adi used to in Imlie. I rewatched one of the old episodes yday - the Holi wala - he clearly said so what if you don't have feelings for me I do have! He was so direct! I wish A-J reach that stage!
