@bold : that’s why someone here said that abhira is not independent yet. That’s the whole point that here independent woman is not self sufficient as of now that’s why there is a need of deal/contract marriage like use and throw! After all jisko useless bola ja raha hai ussi admi se shelter , protection and education help mil rahi hai still that admi is useless! As I said , classic example of use and throw smiley36

Let’s just agree to disagree!

If you read my post completely, you will realise how Abhira although stayed with Armaan for said reasons, but she has been doing everything on her own & didn’t actually need Armaan to do all those things for her!

Shelter, she would have been better off at girls hostel, at least there she wouldn’t be treated as if untouchable! (& she wanted to stay in hostel, but Armaan brought her back for his own family’s reputation’s sake)

Education, she took a stand for herself & did everything on her own! Paying fees to getting permission for her studies, she didn’t rely on anyone!

Protection, while she was being attacked Armaan was busy dancing with his family & ex. Although he was there for her at the last moment, but she took care of the matter with the help of police. & didn’t actually “use” Armaan for the same! ( so I can’t say Armaan never did anything for her as he did protect her)

& that’s why I said, she doesn’t seem talented enough to utilise her use & throw marriage, as claimed by you & some other members! I know situation is changing & Armaan is starting to take a stand for Abhira now. But the fact remains that in the beginning when he actually should have taken those stands, he was either bystander, mute or in support of his family & almost never fulfilled any of his promises or responsibilities! & Abhira never really expected him to do anything for her! For her, knowing that he was in her corner was always enough! But many times, especially in the beginning, he even failed to do that!

You know these jibes would be perfectly acceptable if she didn’t do almost everything on her own & let Armaan face the fire for the responsibilities he has actually taken on Akshara’s death bed! She made that deal not just bcz she wanted to fulfil her mom’s last request but also bcz Armaan was insistent to fulfill those promises he made to his mam! & she knew there was someone else in Armaan’s life & didn’t actually want to impose on him for the lifetime!

& about court case, this topic has nothing to do with it & I have already posted what I felt about it in the post that I think you opened a few days back!

She is a free loader who does nothing in the house or outside but eat and eye on her married jeth asking for EMa

Don’t indulge these accounts.

@bold What is a contract marriage?

A marriage contract, or prenuptial agreement, is a legal document outlining the rights and responsibilities of each spouse on property, finances, among others. It is signed before the wedding ceremony and is considered a form of protection for both parties in case of separation or divorce.

Is there anything like "use and throw" in an actual marriage contract? A marriage contract is not as regressive as use and throw. It benefits both parties so how can it be termed use and throw? Arman will forever be indebted to Akshara for saving his life & sabotaging hers, therefore, he married Abhira, who needed protection from Yuvraj & to fulfil her mother's last wish she agreed to marry Arman.

Did they get married and their marriage get registered for 1 year only? NO. Infact it was a legal marriage registered with witnesses. They didn't mention any contract or fake marriage while getting married. They got married for real as nobody mentioned or brought up any contract while getting married. After getting married Abhira verbally addressed it as a "contract marriage" according to her Akshara died while saving Arman or because of Arman, that's why she declined to accept her marriage with Arman. Did Arman mention contract marriage or did he refuse to accept the marriage? No. He merely agreed to stay married with no time duration mentioned earlier (till she gets a job) as per Abhira's condition though he wanted to fulfil his responsibility towards Akshara (stay married to her) until he is alive. Did they sign any contract for 1-year marriage even after getting married? No.  Can a marriage contract be verbal? No, as it is difficult to prove the contract & conditions associated with it in court.  So, until they legally divorce after 1 year or 10 years they will be a married couple according to law.

Abhira and armaan marriage was ultimately a contract marriage which is just another word for "use and throw". Using fancy words to define contract marriage doesn't change it's very purpose , which ultimately means 'use and throw'.

Abhira wanted muft ka makan , bana banaya khana .

If she was that ambitious , why she didn't try for scholarships or student loans. Had the virtue of self esteem really been present in abhira akshara then they wouldn't have stooped so low to use marriage to fullfill these requirements.

@bold do you really think ITV shows prefer women empowerment over marriage? They wanted Arman-Abhira to get married in any possible way despite of circumstances. Deal Marriage or contract marriage call it use or throw or anything it is a deal from both sides which benefits both sides equally.

@red If getting married legally or having a contract marriage is stooping low than getting married to stay nearer to ur ex. Lusting ur ex when he is already married or not he is already in a relationship and still dreaming about becoming Mrs. Armaan Poddar while already being married to Rohit Poddar might be beyond stooping low then?

Ruhi has abandonment issues and deserves love only. Her going behind Armaan when he is still a pendulum or preferred pleasing his family over taking a stand for their love, recently he even insulted her to protect his wife in front of the family is choosing her self-respect. Ruhi is the most sorted, wise and character with self-respect. Going behind Armaan when he preferred Abhira over her several times is self-respect. It's Ruhi's choice to lust a married man but contract marriage by consensual agreement between two individuals is use and throw.
