Planned his own accident to stop the function. Thinks it is better to cause an accident than to stop the function by telling the truth to Indhira kaki. The whole family sunoaed Surya because they married without their permission and his wife is not willing to even wear the sindoor. Surya still tried to make an excuse but Imlie asked him to put the sindoor. I am glad it was Imlie who took this step.

She told him that she wants to be independent and will give her exam after 1 year. The conversation between Surya and Imlie was good. He keeps no expectations from her at all. Imlie khud tayyar hoke aati hai. Surya is super respectful. He did not even touch her for the family photo.

Surya is like those kids in school who thinks that breaking his arm is the only way to get out of an exam, this guy is so unserious 😂

Imlie’s pinta/chikar will definitely be what makes her realize her feelings for Surya, when she gets there in the future obviously.

There was this delicate moment that occurred when she held his hand, recalling how he was willing to harm himself rather than compel her to wear the sindoor.

Surya’s eyes are finally starting to have that something special when looking at Imlie, whether it be the concern when she let him put the sindoor or the way her beauty had him entranced. Sai and Adrija are working that magic again with their eyes. I’m hoping the new BGM is on the way soon, the music during these scenes is just not doing the chemistry justice.

It’s always so disheartening and reductive when people refer to Agastya as just Imlie’s husband, who died the day of their wedding. There was so much more to their story but it will never be understood by anyone unfortunately.

According to the BTS, Imlie will stand up for herself in front of the guest. Maybe Surya will also speak up and shame them on their regressive thoughts. They’re really going for all the saas bahu tropes, overreacting about the lack of sindoor and even widow shaming.

It’s all very well executed by the cast though, doesn’t feel too cringy so far. Things will definitely spice up when Anjali makes her entry. I say this now but watch me miss Binni Tinni when Anjali’s chipkuness becomes too overbearing…

I thought I misread his expression there but he did feel the attraction and pull when Imlie walked down the stairs. The music needs to be better because otherwise it is all good. Precap main he will wipe her tears (not touching but using a hanky).

Nice trp episode. I loved the interactions of family with Surya and Imlie in the beginning and then the last tashan with everyone present. I feel sad for both Surya and Imlie as both of them are having zero expectations from this marriage. For Surya it is his guilt that his brother died due to him and wanting to rectify the wrong. For Imlie she has loved and lived that life and now she can not love anyone else. This is going to be a long journey and if the writers can write sensibly like they are doing right now then maybe we will get a good story.

Imlie runs down to save Surya as he is planning to get a small accident done to cancel the function. This somehow foreshadows that Imlie is going to realize her love towards Surya only when he is in some danger. I liked the fact that Imlie accepted having sindoor - She is now married whether she likes it or not. She is in trauma no doubt of it but she needs to be out of it soon. Surya does not have any expectations regarding this wedding or marriage. I feel bad for him honestly. He is bogged down with guilt and he is now looking at the prospect of having a life long relationship with no expectations. Something tells me that Surya will not even harbor any hopes that Imlie will accept this relationship as he has seen how much Imlie loves Agastya.

Imlie comes down for the reception and they played the old song of Imlie3. Thank god the styling was really good and Adrija was looking pretty in the green lengha with mangalsutra and diamond necklace. So tomorrow we are going to have a dhamaka with Imlie and Surya both sunaoing the guests for their narrow soch. Nirmala is going to get a good dose from Tayiji after the guests have left. I am liking the sweet Chachiji. Over all a good trp episode and I am glad we are back to 21 mins ka episode.

I have some major gripes though with the styling department. The new cast has been weaved really good in the storyline. When they have been given such good outfits what is with this over the top flowery outfits for Surya ? And can Gul make Sai get a haircut please. The hair looks like unkept chidiya ka ghosla and that over the top flowery shirts ain't working for me. He is a police officer - If nothing give him tight shirts and denim jeans. I am glad that the foundation has been reduced lately but we are not getting that smart chikna chehra which we got during Agastya ka time.

Also can they give some decent outfits for Imlie and have some good BG score when Surya - Imlie look at each other. It need not be romantic but something poignant, something heart tugging which shows Imlie's helplessness and Surya understanding Imlie's pain but unable to do anything.

The writing has improved a lot and the new cast are gelling well. I was more worried ki the new cast might act as standouts but thankfully that has not happened. The casting team has indeed cast really good actors. Just hope the styling department and the music department now stand up and do their work

I shouldn’t have too many expectation at this point but I’ll still throw it out there.

I hope Surya and Imlie’s BGM is the most alluring melody ever. I mean the kind of tune that doesn’t leave your head for weeks.

I want there to be an intense instrumental version as well, straight up break my heart with its beauty.

There’s so many complex emotions at play here and it has to match up to Gul’s standard in terms of music. Some of my favourite OST are from her shows so I really hope she doesn’t disappoint here.

Sai and Adrija’s chemistry lit up the screen as Agastya and Imlie, I’m hoping Surya and Imlie’s story will be given the proper elements to help us fall in love with their story.

At the moment, my feelings ki balti is on the side and I’m strictly watching the shows for the leads. Good music would be such a big positive thing honestly.
