A very interesting watsapp fwd revealed how the most popular words DAMBIS AND DAMRAT came into being ... They are actually Not Marathi words but English words ....😀

The Britishers employed local maharashtrians in the Bombay Dock ... Many of them when angry would indulge in hurling racist abuses at the local people and call them Damn Beast as in "" You Damn Beast ... And You Damn Rat"" ...

When these poor people would return back home they would jokingly mimic their burra sahibs and say Dambis and Damrat 😂

MI have never won their first match . True . But yesterday it seemed like MI would reverse this trend . They bowled exceptionally well to restrict GT to a modest score . They never looked beyond the asking rate .

However , our middle order gave away after Rohits dismissal . Especially David and Tilak should have seen us through . Last over runs are always difficult to get on a slow pitch .

Issue with MI big hitters is they the moment the pitch slows down or turns they are at sea .
