postponing his marriage or Janak’s marriage?

I really don’t understand one thing. Forget about Ani has feelings for Janak, the mother daughter duo are too dominating and rude to the entire Bose pariwaar. Ani has to be kind of a slave once he gets married. They will decide what he should do or should not. Is this what Ani and the Bose family signing up for? Since Shristi family is rich and famous, they are okay for all this. Ani has to set aside mission Janak and think twice on what he is getting in to.
