No, while there are some IT companies that have offices in Salt Lake and Rajarhat, it's just a place that those companies have set up to service their personnel in the East. Part of the reason being the power situation being bad in neighboring states, but okay in WB b'cos all traditional industries have fled, leaving the state w/ a power surplus

Only jobs one can get in Kolkata are call center jobs. Unless one has one's own business
