ARR’s songs and Aamir’s enigmatic ice candy man the way he transforms from an innocent romantic into a monster due to his jealousy and how he uses the  partition towards his ulterior motives. Heartbreaking story!

After Amir's role, my second most favorite character was that little disabled parsi girl, the one who narrates the whole story.
