Kashaf actually isnt a strong character in the run of ZGH IMO..she had a lot of insecurities, bitterness etc and sometimes she was just wayy too rude.. but I liked how they both sort of balanced each other out in the end..she brought a sense of order, discipline and responsibility in him and he brought calmness and happiness in her life..

Zaroon was a misogynist through and through.

Kashaf had the I'm not like other girls attitude.

But they worked out well together somehow.

If I watch the show now, I'd have a lot of issues with it, but young me enjoyed it sm

They both were equally flawed people. People could relate to them because everyone has some kind of insecurities and judgment personality. Zaroon atleast is self aware and don't pretend to be something he is not. He is like a typical South Asian man.

the dynamics at display need to be considered, an example of it was that Tere Bin slap scene, Murtasim is hated for that scene which I understand because violence isn't right but that slap comes after a lot of violence from Meerab's side, she was continuously hitting him too, why aren't both criticized for being violent? In real life, I wouldn't tolerate someone like Murtasim and Meerab because both are equally toxic people at least Murtasim changed and grew, Meerab remained toxic throughout but red flag discussion is limited to male characters

Later in the series, Haya hugs Murtasim without his consent which amounts to sexual harrasment, Meerab sees it and Murtasim is slapped and spat on. If Meerab was hugged by someone without her consent and seeing her in that hug, If Murtasim has spat on her or slapped her, would we be okay with it?

Kashaf and Zaroon were people who were dealing with their insecurities, Zaroon's insecurity were with respect to his environment and Kashaf's were with respect to her environment. A man with superiority complex marries a woman with inferiority complex

Agreed. Also, the writer is good and it looks very different from previous Ramzaan Dramas. It's good that Saima Akram Chaudhary took a break this year. Dananeer overacted a bit in Sinf e Ahan but, I have been impressed by her since Mohabbat ghumshuda meri. She does have the potential to be next great actress.

Had some reservations about Ameer but he looks good. He most likely has gained weight so looks better compared to Sabaat.
