As far as I know, Indrani hardly ever acknowledged her first borns (from college flings) she left them with her parents to live her life, and pretended they never exist, so when she found out sheena was in relationship with her step-son. She killed sheena to hide her past, moreover the very night she killed sheena , she also tried to kill the twin brother by intoxicating him. On document sheena disappeared and it's the case of no body, no crime.

What part of it did the web series messed up. Last I checked Indrani was claiming that her friend spotted sheena on airport or something. Indrani is a media person, she excels in department of saying lies with straight face.

She said she was raped by her father then why did you leave your young daughter with your father ?? The only reason she killed her daughter off was because she wanted to protect her image, which is a crazy reason to kill anyone let alone your own daughter.

This is why i hate this notion that mothers can do no wrong , yes they can. We see examples of it all the time, mothers are also humans and have all kinds of demons inside them. Its not common thankfully but it's possibility.

also i still don't understand why her second husband help her in killing ? He had nothing to gain from this.

Agree…I hate it when mothers get glorified so much in the Indian culture. They are just as human and very much capable of knowingly hurting their offspring. I have seen one too many examples of this in real life. Human beings in general are disgusting and worse than animals. It’s the fear of society and the innate desire to fit in keeps 99.999 % people from committing crimes,

This is why I am not a fan of the true crime genre. The genre initially started with good intentions. People wanted to get justice for those who had been wrongfully convicted. Or there was a genuine interest in trying to get closure for victims after cops botched up an investigation.

But over time, the genre has become exploitative. It is more about grabbing eyeballs with sensationalism rather than closure for victims or justice for the wrongfully accused.
