I really hope somewhere we get an indication that this is Agastya with memory loss and that is why marriage with Surya is destined as they were meant to be with each other.

I guess the trps are stable again so the creatives are jumping headfirst into the shaadi thing as that is the only way they can keep the leads together. They also got Dadi to start the marriage of Binni and Surya so when Imlie eventually marries it is not wrong and the audience would be rooting for Surya to marry Imlie and not Binni. Just like Agastya left Nyonika at altar Surya will leave Binni at the altar.
