He promised the world to her but he did give her a stabbing wound by leaving her at the altar. Agastya as a character is someone who tries to rectify his mistake asap and that is what he tried to do. He tried to marry Imlie and promise her his everything whole heartedly. He did not think that he would die in the next 30 mins. In fact when Imlie was paranoid he told her that he would not leave her so easily.

I feel Imlie is equally responsible for her misery state. Granted Agastya wanted Imlie to be there for his family but Imlie should also know that this family is a lost cause and she should move on. Didn't Agastya tell her to complete all her dreams too. So why is Imlie so hell bent on serving this thankless family because Agastya asked her equally to live her life and fulfill her dreams.

In all I feel the writers cheated us out of a very good story where the leads support each other and are positive. I don't know if SP interfered in the plot or not but I am totally hating this show because the show I feel in love with was so wholesome with every day a good retro song played and with good positive family vibes. This show now is just too gloomy.

Tell me about it. SP has now become a hub for all these weird third angles and every show ultimately is a clone of other. I so miss the old classic SP shows. I still love Sasural Genda Phool. That show had a memory loss track where Ishaan forgets that he was married. Suhana his wife is forced to stay in the house as her family members have gone on a vacation to Europe. The whole family cooks a plot saying that Suhana is Sashikala a victim of domestic abuse and that is why she is staying in the house. Ishaan dreams of his love filled moments with his wife and mouths Suhana unconsciously and he thinks why is he dreaming of Sashikala. The whole track ran for close to 6 weeks and the whole family was so supportive towards both of them - the tadap Suhana had for her husband and then Ishaan not able to remember the details. Sigh - those were the days.

It would have been such a good track if the creatives just took Surya as Agastya with memory loss. Surya can think back and wonder why Imlie's dard makes him feel bad. What is the connection between Imlie and himself. We could have been told that Agastya is Surya with memory loss. The story would have been so beautiful. But nope we got this khichdi of a plot. I am so hating it ki kya hi bole.

When all other shows on SP deal with women empowerment why will SP force Imlie to follow this storyline? No it's not SP it's Gul's team.

Many shows show humiliation of FL as well. But FL doesn't stay mum. She speaks and often rudely. Nothing is being shown like that in Imlie.

I see quite a few SP shows and know the storyline of the most thanks to IG videos. But in no show the storyline is like this? How did the show become so backward and regressive? Also Gul's shows are never like that.

Because the vibes of the show changed. Pehle it was easy breezy with good positivity and 90s feels. Abhi dekho full of toxicity.

Other SP shows have bigamy tracks, infidelity tracks, and the wife being the maid of the house, male leads slapping the female lead. Unfortunately Imlie entered their leagues too now.

Pehle despite a lower rating, Imlie would have been a progressive show. Abhi toh dekha bhi nahi ja raha.

Sahi mein vibe of the show died with Agastya. It's not even 200 epis since gen 3 started & we've already lost our ML. Which writers/show makers in their sane minds would do this???

Maybe to make her suffer as he will then have taken away the right of being widow to Agastya. It is like - I won't let you grieve for Agastya and neither would I allow you to be my suhaagan. Gul is weird and I am dreading she would take this route. I hate this but I am afraid this is what is going to happen.

I remember I used to look forward to what hairstyle they were going to give Imlie or what song they were going to use between her and Agastya.

Their nok jhok was always present even during the arguments. Amidst the angst and misunderstanding, there was always a moment where they’d banter.

The domestic nature of their relationship was the best thing to watch, there was so much familiarity and it was amazing to watch them fall in love.

Now we can only expect people to give her taunts and for her few allies to give sad reactions in the background.

No Raghu loop will not close - But Raghu being dead is out already. I think Surya will take it that Imlie has murdered Raghu while Imlie will try to say that he was already killed before they could come. That is why maybe Surya will marry forcefully Imlie - to give her punishment for taking away his sister's suhaag. Like Sunaina said - Surya will be like I won't allow you to live life like Agastya's widow and I won't allow you to live like a suhaagan too. That is why he will marry her.

samaj nahi aa raha hai what are they going to show next . I am in two minds regarding this.

Either Surya will half heartedly believe on Imlie innocence and they both will try to find the killer who is monty.

Or it's going to be hate marriage.

Unpopular Opinion..

What was there not to like today?

We all knew Shivani will buckle under the pressure, and Imlie shall confess.. So wahi hua.. At least I am happy that the story is moving forward..

Regarding Daadi and Binni's taane.. Frankly at this point, Daadi is like that evil stepmother in the usual fairytales, and Binni is the daughter, and step-sister who pushes and pulls and makes the life of the main gal tough.. And obviously Imlie is going through her first part of the Cindrella phase.. Aaj toh proper wahi vibes thi. ghar ka kaam karo.. pocha karo etc.. etc..

And in terms of Surya, I am not bothered at the moment.. He can be Auggy with memory loss or actual Surya, as far as they aren't showing any love angle between him and Imlie, he could be the evil second step-sister, for all I care..

I am cool.. I am calm.. I am fine. (right now)..

But might not be able to spread more positivity today.. office work, someone else might have to take optimism ke shots..
