Imlie said at the altar, during the Kairi-Dhanraj reveal, that they lost a son that day but they still had eachother. And how she lost the only family she had, which was Kairi.

When Meera left, Agastya said that he’ll become her family but then he died on their actual wedding day. She lost the only family she had again and the Chaudhary’s have not apnao-ed her either. What did he genuinely expect? That she’d come home after his death, Binni Tinni would leave and that they’d all welcome her with open arms?

Dadi was so adamant to get him away from Imlie, he knew what her state of mind was before he left. Even if Binni was a good person, did he think Dadi was going to let her go after seeing him perform a wedding with full rituals with her?

How could he have been so naive to believe that? Somewhere in his mind, he must’ve realized that his situation mirrored Dhanraj in his family’s perspective.

Surya is a stranger, woh to karega apni mann maani, we apparently can’t even expect insaniyaat from him. But Agastya’s family, the most ehsaan faramosh people, we can’t even expect them to have some consideration for their own Gattu’s feeling. They were absolutely fine with seeing Agastya miserable when he was alive if it meant they could keep their victim card. And now that he’s dead, they’re going to make sure that the love of his life gets disrespected every day in their presence.

Every time, I see Agastya’s family humiliate and mistreat Imlie, I can’t help but be mad at him. He was supposed to give her the love & family she yearned for her entire life. Instead, he left her with this emptiness and endless pain.

I feel this is all SP interference in the plot. I can't recognize the Imlie show we first watched. Abhi toh sab negative hai in the show except the female lead.

Forget her career as a chef or her education, she is made to be bound by a promise and is made to be a maid of the house. I don't know what joy audience gets in seeing the daughter in law of the house be treated so badly. Sonali ne parso hi bola tha Imlie ko that she is sacrificing her self respect for the promise she made Agastya. This makes no sense at all. The whole family does not deserve her sacrifice.

Surya is just freaking annoying to see. He saw how much she loves Agastya and is tolerating the crap the whole family is putting her through. If he's a cop, behave like a cop and investigate the truth properly. What is this torture for? It just shows how inhumane a character he is.

Seriously, except Sonali, Jugnu and Chutki there is no one who cares for her. Also all these people are easily silenced so their care or support doesn't mean jack.

I hope they show this track done with in the next 2 days so we can move forward with Surya mellowing towards Imlie and helping her find Agastya ka death ka raaz and then reach Agastya who is somewhere in a coma.

No Raghu loop will not close - But Raghu being dead is out already. I think Surya will take it that Imlie has murdered Raghu while Imlie will try to say that he was already killed before they could come. That is why maybe Surya will marry forcefully Imlie - to give her punishment for taking away his sister's suhaag. Like Sunaina said - Surya will be like I won't allow you to live life like Agastya's widow and I won't allow you to live like a suhaagan too. That is why he will marry her.

This is a sick track. They didn't need to kill off the only positivity in Imlie ka life. Kya bakwas kar dia show ko in a matter of seconds. I have no interest left to watch truth be told.

Even if the Chaudhary’s, for some stupid delusion, believe that Imlie only used Agastya and that she never loved him. Are they really going to deny how much he loved her? They think one night spent alone in a room with Binni made the sanskari lust in him wake up and that after “consummation” that he just erased Imlie from his heart. They saw how emotional they both were during the haldi ceremony.

Dadi’s character got butchered but even she knew during the Vishwa blackmailed track that Agastya loved Imlie. It’s why she didn’t get mad over the contract marriage reveal, she saw his tadap.

He was literally with her till his dying breath, he said he had something important to do before he came home. They didn’t find him dead under the tracks at the train station where he was going to abandon Imlie, where she could’ve pushed him. They found him in a kurta under a cliff after his car’s break failed, Imlie had sindoor in her mang again. Were the dots that hard to connect?

They’re going to deny all rights to Imlie, even the right to mourn Agastya. They’re letting Binni Tinni speak for them and demean Imlie at every turn. I hope Binni/Rashmi, joh bhi hai, loots them hard. We already know Imlie is going to forgive them but I want them to suffer first. Even if that means that Imlie is out of the house for a few days, I want Binni to have the opportunity to rob them and give the money to her boyfriend.

Nothing other than that happened in the episode. Binni the tinni again tries to fill Dadi's ears against Imlie and tries to get her out of the house. Surya calls up Raghu's friend to the house to see if Imlie tells him the truth. Raghu's friend told Surya that they had a trifle with a thela waali when Surya was investigating Raghu's disappearance. So Surya wants to see if Imlie accepts that.

Dadi is full gone in Binni's game plan and asks Imlie to go away from the house. Imlie is still waiting to fulfill the promise she gave to her babu to look out for the family which frankly the family does not deserve. So Dadi gives a bucket load of work for Imlie to finish before they supposedly come back from a temple visit. Imlie finishes the work and wants to go. Surya stops her from going by dirtying the house again. At this point Surya is not clicking for me as he does not seem to have any empathy for anyone other than Malti the balti and his mother. Agastya was not like this. He was a prejudiced person but he was very fair and had empathy for others.

The friend comes to the house and Imlie tells Surya that she has seen him and Raghu when they hit her cart. Shivani who is in the house comes down and shrieks in fear after seeing Monty. Imlie and Surya come there and Imlie tells the whole truth of how Raghu came into the house after following Shivani and tried to molest them. Imlie also accepts that they have the knife that was used to kill Raghu and also the dead body.

I don't think the friend is going to accept to killing so maybe Imlie will accept the blame. Whatever - looks like Raghu jaap is going to be over now.

What is not clicking for me -

1. Surya has no connection to the Chaudharys even though he is the long lost grandson of the house.

2. Surya's over the top love and adoration for Malti and his mother when the mother has abused him maybe since childhood.

3. Surya has no empathy for anyone outside of his 2 family members. He going over the top in hurting Imlie and making her work hard, nope I am not liking it.

4. I don't think Surya ever even thought of Raghu being a bad guy so he will not readily accept that fact. In fact he will try to hurt Imlie more because he can't accept his BIL being a creep.

5. Surya and Imlie are BIL and Bhabhi and the relationship and its boundaries itself should not be trivialized. Had it just been doppelganger I could have somehow taken the hate marriage or whatever they are going to show here. But since Surya is the twin of Imlie's deceased husband I just can not take this relationship.

Once upon a time we used to have good bhabhi - devar scenes where the devar would help the bhabhi in their goals. I don't know but SP channel itself promotes these weird icky fantasies. So basically it looks like we have to throw out the first part of Imlie - Agastya ka love story in water and now wait to see how Imlie and Surya are going to have a story together. Don't know what to say.

@Bold- this.. SP's old iconic shows like Bidaai, Ek Hazaaron mein meri behna hai portrayed these relationships soo beautifully ❤️ That old essence is, unfortunately, long gone with an excuse of the TRPs. I hate how brutal SP has become that there is no space for unique storyline, experimenting and originality..

I would love to see a bankruptcy track for the Chaudhary family. Like Binni takes them to the road and Imlie isn't able to stop coz she is busy tackling some other mess. I'm telling you I want really bad things to happen to this ehsaan faramosh family. They didn't care for Agastya and his feelings when he was alive re. What will they care for a parayi ladki Imlie.

It's sad that they can see she's living in this house as a maid, agreed to marry Vishwa for saving Agastya ka life, was willing to get killed by the stalker for Agastya. How conveniently they forgot all that. Do they have any money for Imlie to loot anymore? If no one is trusting her, how can she loot them?

She keeps saying she's here to fulfill her last promise to Agastya. Are they so thick in the head. What did Kairi do to their family? Did she loot the family? She left the house and was living alone in poverty with Dhanraj.

You know Kashish I was watching an IB episode where the female lead was accused by the MIL and the male lead stood up for her going against his mom. How much I wished to see Agastya take a stand for Imlie by going against his family. This idiot married her in private and died before he could clarify the fake marriage and Navya killing Dhanraj Kairi truth to the family. Biwi aur maa dono ko fail kar dia.

Even in Gul’s own show, in IB, she had Rudra and Omkara be like brothers to Annika. Their bond was so wholesome and cute.

They had so many beautiful scenes where they defended and helped her. Even when Shivaay didn’t give her the izzat as his biwi, they called her bhabhi with such pride.

Granted, they grew up with Shivaay. But still, if this is Surya who got emotional looking at Agastya’s baby pictures, you’re telling me he doesn’t understand how wrong it is to do that to his own twin brother’s wife?

Is it going to help Malti heal from her loss? Imlie has already lost so much, why take away the only thing that’s allowing her to even breathe right now. Malti still has him and his mother, plus Raghu wasn’t even a good man. Imlie has no one and nothing to her name, only her love for her Babu.

This is what makes Surya so different from Imlie’s Babu. No matter what Vishwa did, Agastya never once thought to take revenge. He only took back what was rightfully his but he never tried to harm him or his family. His moral compass was always in the right place. He’s made many mistakes but he also repented the moment he realized. Imlie was right, he doesn’t even compare to August Babu’s pinky finger. They expect us to forget this character they made us love and accept this guy as the new lead?

Which is crazy, because I still enjoy the new andaaz Sai has brought with the character. But at a certain point, the shtyle marna loses its effect and we need something of substance to actually root for the new character. At the moment, I’m finding it very hard to like Surya. His chemistry with Imlie is only nice to watch because Sai and Adrija set the screen on fire when they’re together. There’s nothing about him alone that we could find enticing, there’s no kashish.

Galti se bhi yeh week trp increase kar gayi from 1.8 to 1.9 and then next week 2 then samaj jana audience ko toxicity hi pasand aati hai and that's what Imlie makers are serving

Gul's shows had good bhabi devar scenes as well. Even in Imlie earlier we saw quite normal relationship between Imlie and Karan. Season 1 was good in this department as well. Gul's earlier shows like IPKKND, IB had good relationship. Haan Imlie season 2 se change hua shayad. But then in season 2 they showed one sided romance of the devar. Bhabi was not interested. Yahan toh. 😣
