I think there will be a flashback on this.
But it's a good twist.
Apparently, Yashodhan has no idea that Malati has been visiting Sumitra to instigate her against Asim, obviously to turn Rajendra and Sumitra against each other, and Malati is now bringing Ashvini too.
The pen drive that Yashodhan was hiding could alert the Deshmukhs to Malati's scheme.
The precap of Friday's episode has to be Dhanya's nightmarish daydream again. Why would Nivedita play the recording on the projector screen - to embarrass herself at work?
I don't expect that when Nivi figures out that she picked up the wrong pen drive from the car that Dhanya drove, she will suspect Dhanya of making the recording and playing it at the anniversary party, just because Dhanya knew about Devika and Asim. Nivi knows that Dhanya wouldn't hurt her family.
That wasn’t Yash’s dream. Nivi played the video after the meeting and accused Yash and asked him to get lost.
I actually feel bad for Nihar. Asim is annoying.
Nivedita is an interior designer, not an architect. Why is she talking about safety considerations for windows? Ceilings ... floors ... walls ...
Yashodhan didn't need to say the pen drive was his. It belongs to Ketaki, and the video shot by Malati was copied onto it by Ashvini.
When Yashodhan grabbed the pen drive from Ketaki, she was afraid of him hitting her with his bare hands. Now Yashodhan has a wrench in his hand, and he's threatening Ketaki, but she defies him to his face. How did this sibling relationship shift so much?
Nivedita calling the watchman and pretending not to know Yashodhan was too much. She could just have told the truth, that she doesn't want Yashodhan in the building. How did the watchman from outside get there so fast? Wouldn't everyone working in the building be curious about why she called the watchman?
I liked Rajendra's reaction to Asim telling him he should have gone away instead of Devika. Rajendra didn't get angry or focus on his guilt; he understood that Asim wasn't expressing hate as much as he was asking for comfort.
On Sunday's episode, Nivedita asked Asim if he had done his History homework. When he said yes, she told him to revise it anyway, and they would go on to the next chapter.
Do seven-year-old children in India have so much homework that they have to name different subjects and work through a chapter every day? Wouldn't it be one teacher for all subjects, assigning something simple like copying and illustrating a paragraph or a poem?
I loved the scene of Choṭū's new friend "Duryodhan" showing Asim the motorbike.
Asim's you-remind-me-of-my-mother appeal to Sumitra, however, was not at all how a seven-year-old would talk.
Why would Nivedita's boss say that he gave her such a good assistant, Ketaki? I thought he knew that Ashvini rejected his project just to harm Nivedita, and to extort him for her sister-in-law Ketaki to get a job by nepotism. He has connections to bypass Ashvini. I thought he said that Nivedita needs an assistant just to put Ashvini in her place. When did Ketaki accept the degrading offer?
Someone on the writing team evidently thinks the formula for suspense is: Character A gets a bad surprise that Character B was making every effort to deliver gently ... Character A assumes that Character B was deliberately hurtful ... Character B doesn't explain ... Character B endures Character A's undeserved reproaches, day after day. Sumitra is doing it to Nivedita ... Nivi is doing it to Dhanya ...
Yashodhan hasn't apologized to Vinayak for suspecting him, has he? Yashodhan only accused Malati, Ashvini, and Ketaki; they denied it, and Vinayak didn't react much.
Sumitra said to Malati that she doesn't want to get out of bed, she doesn't want to live her life anymore ... These are symptoms of depression. Maybe Sumitra's instinct to go far away is correct. Being around Rajendra and Asim (and Nivedita, due to misunderstanding) causes stress to Sumitra, and she needs to think clearly about what will make her life bearable. She could spend some time by herself, or with her parental family if they're understanding.
Malati's response to Sumitra saying she doesn't want to live, "Don't you dare say that!" was exactly wrong. Someone who might be suicidal doesn't need to feel guilty about the stigma of being visibly mentally ill. It isn't healthy to hide such feelings. When a suicidal person expresses despair, the right response is to listen and suggest treatment.
What is Sumitra thinking, making Nivedita promise to marry Sumitra's choice within a month, when Sumitra hasn't chosen anyone?
Nivi's character has to be developed more. No one knows what she actually wants.
High time for Yash to move on if she rejects him in today's episode.
Does Nivedita no longer believe that Yashodhan made a spectacle of her father's betrayal of her mother? Isn't she curious about who did it, motivated by what, and how Yashodhan got the video?
A life-changing event is being forgotten just for the plot setup that Sumitra listens to Malati and Nivedita has to work with Ketaki.

The culprit of all this is her dad. I felt that her anger is shown wrong people. If her dad did not have affair, all this wouldn't have happened.
Now when Yash tried to explain, she isnt even ready to hear his explanation, so basically it looks like she doesnt care anymore....the affair revelation hurt Sumitra the most, and now I think Nivi finds her mom being unreasonable by forcing her to get married, so the anger is reduced. Also, Yash is helping her and being nice to Aseem. Free motorbike repair everyday. Kind of selfish behaviour if you see from Yash's POV. Dont know why is he going behind her.
So many dialogues on Thursday's episode had me wondering why the character would say that.
Why did Nivedita say that Devika was her father's second wife? Rajendra signed the death certificate papers as Devika's husband, and didn't correct the hospital staff who called her his wife, but if Rajendra never had a marriage ceremony or cohabitated in a marriage-like relationship with Devika, there was only adultery and out-of-wedlock childbirth, no crime of bigamy, right? Nivedita didn't need to implicate Rajendra in a crime; she could have let him answer.
Why did Nihar tell the Inspector to limit his questions to the case and stay out of their private life? So far, the Inspector had only asked the potential witnesses to identify themselves and the victim, which was preliminary, not suspicious and certainly not intrusive.
Why did the Inspector guess that Nihar gets angry quickly? Nihar had addressed the Inspector politely. He hadn't shouted or gestured.
Why did Rajendra say that no one knew anything about Devika until the anniversary celebration? Nivedita and Yashodhan knew a few days before, and a video of Nivedita talking to Rajendra was played at the anniversary party before Rajendra got news of the accident. These are facts that the police would consider relevant to the investigation.
Why did Rajendra say that none of them knew where the car struck Devika? Has Asim only told Nivedita, not Rajendra, that Devika was on her way to hand over the apartment key because they were leaving town? Nivedita should have told the police what Asim told her, and the police should have questioned Asim anyway, since they must know that he was injured at the scene.
Why did Nivedita tell Yashodhan that the police asked a lot of questions? They didn't even ask whether Rajendra, Sumitra, or Nivedita knows how to drive! Or whether Devika had an argument with anyone recently. *cough* Kunal *cough*
Why did Vinayak say that his quarrel with Rajendra happened before Ashvini married into the family? Did Ashvini choose to marry Abhay after his father was fired for embezzlement? Rashi is old enough to go to school, so she can't be younger than Asim by much more than a year. If seven-year-old Asim was born after the quarrel, Vinayak would have known about the ten-year affair up to the third year, maybe, but would he have known that Devika had Rajendra's child? Devika told Yashodhan that his father knew everything.
Do people in Mumbai really take time out of their day to protest against sharing a condominium society with a bigamist, blackening his face and saying that his example will corrupt their children?
In his note, Rajendra spelled Nihar's name निहार instead of नीहार.
We got a good cliffhanger on Friday's episode. How will Nivedita react to Yashodhan's love?
