By the way, thanks for the wisdom you've been imparting on Ashoka's history. I've not read his story in depth, just on Wikipedia and some other sources online. And this seems interesting and much better than the shows of Eku, which Idk what she's even doing.

Yup, Ashoka was, but the amount of shows picturing polygamous relationships is staggering.
Ashok didn't marry anyone except Vidisha Mahadevi till he became a king , why didn't she follow Ashok to Patliputra is still a mystery but it's speculated she was in vidisha to spread his cause and rule it on his behalf, that's why the title Mahadevi.
Ashok marrying Karuwaki is also a mystery. In literary sources there is no mention of her so some scholars say she was a lady from Kaushambi. Romila Thapar makes Tisyarakshita and Karuwaki as one person as both are called his second queen.
Ashok married Padmavati who gave birth to Kunal. Nothing else is mentioned except this. Just this one line.
Ashok married Asandhimitra, princess of Asandhivat and she quickly became his favourite wife due to her sensible, kind , inteligent and compassionate nature. Some texts calls them soulmates and having punar janam connection. It's that deep relationship which is totally avoided in popular media. 😡
