He himself created and manipulated those situations so that she falls in love with him, it wasn't natural..he's that entitled brat who can go to any lengths to get what he wants, doesn't even realize that shibra and her family can feel cheated and he might hurt their feelings in this process.

The reason to fake identity was pretty dumb. It's not like shibra didn't had any prejudice towards Fazal baksh the poor sheeda saada guy. She was very harsh towards Fazal at the start. She would have had the same prejudice against shahmeer as well and he could have pursued her like he did as Fazal. Shahmeer is shown to be a confident rich educated guy. Any confident guy will go upto a girl as himself and wooed her with his abilities.

Shahmeer is basically an obsessive stalker who in a real life scenario is very dangerous as he holds immense power and wealth. He cannot even think of rejection and that's why he went to all this length. Just because he cannot take no for an answer he used his power and money to get what he wants through manipulation and deceiving everyone who trusted him.

If we apply common sense a girl like shibra who is high on principles and self respect would never accept a guy like shahmeer and through all her feelings out the window but then she exists only as an object of affection for the ml to do what he wants to do to get her. So obviously her love for him will be above her self respect and principles . The saving grace of dramas like koi Chand rak, yeh Dil Mera etc where the fl are shown to be dense because of their blind love for the ml are the ending where they show the door to these guys and don't reconcile or forgive them. In all these dramas the girls are always shown to be meek unlike shibra who is dubbed as a sherni . But from all the leaked BTS we know what's gonna happen.

I never quiet understood if he was afraid of rejection why pretend to be a junior clerk who is not very educated and from a very different class than Shibra who we are told is a double master's and studying for css. It took me such a long time to look past this - it used to make me think of Raja Hindustani for me (which is a super cringe movie from the 90s) The first time he meets her, he introduces himself as the event manager/planner. That seemed to be a more appropriate persona Shamir could have adopted to pataofy Shibra. A regular middle-class guy trying to make his living the honest way. But I guess we wouldn't really have much of a drama then.

I wonder if all the dragging and added FB scenes ate into Shamir's character development. Shamir was supposed to be this powerful ruthless guy with Machiavellian tendencies. I was really interested in this Shamir. I was also really interested in the politics angle when IM started. But I feel none of this was never really explored in any substantive way. The whole Shamir kidnapping the Minister's sons came off like a comedy and I never got the dangerous ruthless politician vibe from him (leaving your shirt half unbuttoned and wearing chains is not the same thing).

And the debate continues! Salman-Aaliya or Asfar-Aaliya? I always felt that Asfar was the odd one out and his story didn't fit in well with the drama.Besides,Aaliya-Asfar's entire equation was a done to death trope.Watched many ITV shows with similar story where the FL "fixes" the life of the grumpy guy.

I might be in minority but I felt aliya asfar should have been the endgame.

I haven't watched all the episodes of ka, only started watching it post sherrys entry and that too in ff mode..so after seeing the dynamics of asfar aliya I felt they are more should have been with eachother ofcousre because of the typical boss employee trope and also because I just don't know what was the role of Salman in the entire drama apart from being aliyas love interest he had no contribution to the story line and maybe I feel this way because he hardly had ss and asfars storyline looked appealing because obviously of the difficult childhood, estranged relationship with his family and then the girl coming into his life and making him realise the importance of family and other stuff in life..theirs was a typical lovestory which didn't had an happy ending, if Salman wouldn't have been in the equation it was given that aliya would be with asfar..

Yep. He was cast in Ali Rehman's role first, who played Zara's love interest.

You could see sparks between Zara and Farhan from the beginning. Now I really want them to cast together in some intense enemies to lovers story.

If you have seen the drama from the start you will get why Aaliya chose salman. She was already in love with Salman and she never showed any interest in asfar.

It's pretty obvious they sidelined both Aliya and Salman for Asfar whose story never gelled with the rest of the drama and totally not in a kasf foundation drama.

He's not ruthless. I mean a kid like FB resides inside him. How can he be?

Suno Chanda was a hum drama and his pairing with Iqra is very successful. Same with urwa in udaari. Arsh and Meera are basically one of the healthiest pak drama couples I have seen and urwa and farhan had great chemistry as well.

Badshah begum and jhok sarkar if I am not wrong (haven't seen JS) don't hold much importance in the romantic department.

But they promoted mostly by Hiba and Farhaan and viewers were expecting more. If not they could have given us happy ending. I want to see hiba and farhaan again in new show just because their story in jhok sarkar feels incomplete.

Btwn I don't think Farahaan and Urwa actually look great. I think he only doesn't have chemistry with his real wife. 😂😂
