Anyways idk why Mongas are getting spotlight. Is Angad better than Mongas , we will never know. That is how terrible the male lead is that we have to talk about what his clearly flawed in laws could have done differently and how he might be slightly better than them ( he is not)

I doubt he was trying to solve the matter for Sahiba but had Angad been actually guilty about slap he would have admitted to Santosh instead of saying what he said. He defended his reasons for trusting Veer and not Sahiba as if Sahiba has always betrayed him about such crucial matters.

Regardless, prior to slap he has done enough damage to her. None of which he ever acknowledges or accepts of course. I will stick to it that slap is barely anything compared to what he did after she got him his house and freed him from jail. I do hope Sahiba shows the same amount of thanklessness to Angad.

Point is if he cared, Sahiba after suicide attempt would not be left unattended. He allegedly loves her still (show is trying to sell us that). But he clearly couldn't be bothered even after a suicide attempt.

A lucid Sahiba doesn't care about his family's taunts. And it is obvious Angad doesn't care what they do to someone he allegedly loves and will never care. Let us wait for his very predictable reaction to his family sending her to mental asylum without informing her parents ( apart from running unnecessarily on road).

tbh when I read that the Mongas were muted in their response I was annoyed that they are not reacting even when daughter is being molested and then character assassinated. but atleast they had the decency to hear out both sides before choosing to stand by their daughter instead of character assassinating or attacking Veer immediately like the Brars did with Keerat.

Mongas are definitely not ideal parents because Santosh crossed the line in terms of settling her eldest daughter in rich family and Ajit failed to take a stand for any of his daughters. they are conservative too. but they are not as heartless and cruel as Brars. They have some decency intact and some insaaniyat intact.
