Some of the DP fans are so toxic. They feel like they own DP and their idol is some queen or something. No wonder they elicit so much hatred for their favorite.
I may be in the minority but I absolutely loved Shahid’s performance in Padmaavat and his Jodi with Deepika. Ratan Singh was a righteous character who refuses to cross the line set by his value system and I think Shahid played it really well. SLB couldn’t have shown Ratan in any other way because then he would be tweaking the history. Ratan Singh and a plethora of his fellow kings lost their kingdoms to the Muslim invaders which is a fact so how was he to show it in a manner which doesn’t hurt the Rajput pride?
