Sara can act all she wants but she has not had a film with as much gravitas as one great Alia's film.

Let be adults here and speak facts and not fantasy. When Sara comes up to Alia's level, then we can start comparing until then, the little girl can stay in her lane.

A lot of actors in bw have one of their niche character-archetypes.Katrina has good comic timing, Anushka is great in those blunt north Indian girl roles, Sara is good at being north Indian bubbly, desi girl. Her diction is great. Whether any of them can pull of diverse roles is debateable.

For that matter, I don't think Alia can pull off a good comedy where romance is on the backburner.

Sara definitely has more personality than Alia for sure. She doesn't have the years nor the backing behind her so gravitas ka kya hi kehna

I have not seen the movie.

But Sara seems to be expressive from the songs I have watched and has good screen presence. She definitely has potential.

Sara in her debut was miles better than Alia in her SOTY outing.

However, Alia has come a long way ever since. Her privileges aside, director like SLB has casted her in content driven female oriented role like Gangubai. On the other hand, except for her blink-and-miss role in Simmba, Sara hasn't delivered one memorable hit.

That said, Sara is a better dancer and at good hands she is capable of delivering. Despite the verdict, I found her extremely good in Atrangi and that speaks volume about her capacity as an actor, especially when she had to perform alongside someone as accomplished as Dhanush. But for most of the times, she follows Sonakshi Sinha's footsteps in terms of script selection.

Off the movies, Sara has the most electrifying personality not only amongst her contemporaries but also many of her seniors a generation and even two before.

I put my bet on Sara after Kedarnath and Simba. But the girl let me down with her ‘tang’ dialog.

At this moment Alia is better than her of course. But Alia had a faster growth and good author-backed roles in the beginning to cover up her the then shortcomings while she continued to work on those. Sara doesn’t have that opportunity. She doesn’t have a good big budget movie lined up. Hope she has few and I will again ship for her !
