As per bts, its mass 'vadhu var parichay' event, not samuhik vivah usually meant for under privileged mass community wedding event.

That promo cut was exaggerated & too vile anyhow for people to wait for actual episodes to get clarity.

Feel as educated TV viewers if we like promos/trailers, concept, main leads, content, casting, acting, packaging, characters, regular twists and turns in a story, or just have heard or read well about a new serial and if the telecast time slot on TV suits us; then irrespective of BARC weekly TRPs, budgets, channel, production house, non-popular stars, we may still try to watch a new serial on TV (or catch up online later) and also give mouth publicity, or social media publicity thus making it popular. That's more ground reality. Other fact is attention span of TV viewers in recent years have drastically reduced, with more available choices to alternate forms in different mediums, for their regular dose of entertainment.

Its a MYTH that TV remote control in late evenings in India rests with some illiterate or low IQ aunties or house wives and they are key to determine viewership, popularity and TRPs for late evening prime time fiction shows. It may be far from reality.

That producer Mukta on her insta hyped & posted drunk Virat's half pants dhol bhajake lets humiliate Aaji & Chitnis family publicly with EMA promo, by welcoming Arjit as actor calling it new phase of Virat. She didn't post any other promo till now, speaks in itself..

I think may be police coming to arrest her may stop Aaji from leaving otherwise her role was just a waste of time .
