I see players asking for "a new post" and responses with either a duplicate siggy outside the quoted siggy or not quoting, just posting the siggy. Please clarify:

1. May I edit my original post tagging 5 people to specify that the siggy must not be a quote, and my tag must be added?

2. Since you didn't tell Red_eyes94 exactly what the hug was missing, may I send a PM to Red_eyes94 with specific instructions: please edit your post to remove the Quote HTML and insert my tag?

Quoting you is fine, but they just need to post the siggy, so yes you can ask Red_eyes to edit her post and add the siggy in.
