No, not watching at all. Infact stopped watching all Vijay TV shows. Don’t even know whats going on in Zee or Sun.

The makers butchered the last 1 year of PS which started out on a very good note. Now have lost complete faith on the makers of any show😂

Wasn't watching until this dumb mahasangamam. Clearly they don't know what to do with or how to proceed with Baakiyalakshmi and that's probably why they decided to combine these 2 shows because it is utterly meaningless with bringing in unnecessary side plots like Chezhian kidnapping his own daughter and all that crap.

If Dhanam charcter was irritating in Season 1, this Gomathi is DhanamxDhanamxDhanam.

Not being a sequel, the new characters are refreshing. The story so far seems nice too.

Even if a show starts well, the plot goes down the drain with the usual drama cliches, forced weddings, affairs, hatred, toxic in-laws, and more. I did not watch the last 2 months of S1 and did not even miss it

I really do not get 3+ weeks of mahasangaman. They could have finished all the plots in one week but are dragging it unnecessarily. It is still not over. The wedding will be tomorrow, today was crying, restlessly walking, drinking tea, looking like an idiot, dressing up, and some flashbacks

I expected Gomathi to be better but she threw Kathir under the bus. I hope she is not like Dhanam.

I was rewatching the early episodes of S1, and Dhanam is overbearing.

Appa... yesterday's episode unlocked a new level of irritating. Especially that lengthy dialog of Gomathi's crying and trying to manipulate and guilt trip her son into marrying a girl he dislikes, wow!

It amazes me how directors think this is normal and a completely reasonable way to make it up to her brothers because she eloped some 3 decades ago to marry someone and now, she gives not a rat's behind about throwing her son under the bus!

In any case, this serial seems to follow the familiar template typical off all Vijay TV serials - getting 2 people to very unwillingly enter into wedlock and then just drag it on and on with that slow burn until the parties realize that they are actually made for each other. Amidst all this, the couple will face foul mouthed villains, cringe worthy situations, some couples competition in a resort where the whole entire family goes to honeymoon and everything in between. Indha maari kalyanathula even more thaanga mudiyaadha thing is the entire family will discuss about the couple's nuptials, as if that is the single most important thing. Sabba.

This Baakiyalakshmi was at least slightly different, but now with that makku mandaram Baakiya whose reaction time is like a wet firecracker, vidinjurum! It now seems like she was smarter when she was actually married to Gopi because she had goals and things to actually do! Now, she has established her catering business enough to get government contracts, has finished learning English and all that, now she has nothing to do, so she goes around poking her nose in other people's business like asking random people she meets at the temple to come and cook for her and get random people she sees at hotel lobbies get married! Enna nonsense da saami, thaanga mudiyala.

Bloody hell! What is this wedding track? They could have done it better, like taking Raji back and telling the Vels that Kannan threatened to kill her father and forcefully took her, and her money and jewels, and Bhagya rescued her. Or else tell that Kannan kidnapped Raji, took her to that temple place where she escaped from him and ran into Gomathi.

Anyway no one would marry Raji later, and Gomathi could have spoken about Kathir marrying Raji later. Instead like an idiot, she forced them to marry, and now is going to pretend that she had nothing to do with it. Pandian and the Vels might not do anything to Raji (culprit) but Kathir (victim) has to face the storm (beatings, scolding, ridicule, and whatnot).

Since this serial started, everyone knows Kathir-Raji is the lead pair, so the wedding is guaranteed but could be written better. There is already too much violence this season. Why can't it be a nice family story?

About Bhagya, I just want the Vel family to give her nicely, but knowing how it will be, she will give a looooonnnnnggggggg speech where Pandian, the Vels, and everyone will get fed up and just leave her alone.

Oh yeah, even though Pandian built a successful business and a big house on his own, his house has only 2 bedrooms. Forget the 2 daughters, he has 3 sons, and one BIL living with him, but he takes up one room for himself and his wife, and the other room was for Saravana. The rest were sleeping on the terrace. Kundrakudi doesn't get rain, I think.

Now, that room is given to Senthil-Meena, so where will Kathir-Raji stay? In the storeroom? Dhinne? Pakkathu veedu? or at Kumaresan maama's house? I just hope they chuck Kathir-Raji out and these both somehow manage to live separately. Kathir's education is going to go down the drain, I hope Raji can continue hers unless her role is to wear sarees, adorn jasmine flowers, cook, put kolam, and gossip with whoever is nearby. None of Pandian's kids will become a collector, but DIL can become an IPS. But this reminds me of that Raja Rani 2 serial, and I hate this track.

On a different note, I hate that after waiting 3 weeks for the wedding, it got over in 6 mins.

Indha Komathi vadikkira neeli kanneera paathaale pathikittu varudhu.. wants to remain in everyone's good books and makes her son a scapegoat in the process. (This, I find to be worse than the silent treatment Kathir gets from his dad.) She should have found another way to patch up with her brothers, instead of cutting Kathir this type of raw deal. Writers, namma Nirosha deserves a better character than this.

And Kathir deserves sooooo much better than this azhumoonji. Seriously, being the waris of Vel Bros, I would have expected her to give that Kannan guy a good thrashing. Kathir kitta mattum evlo thimir thanam pannichu... poyi andha payala naalu saathu saatha vendiyadhu dhaane. (But ivlo yesurene, I was actually enjoying their wedding sequence, and they make a nice pair. )

No worries Cosmo, irukkave irukkaru namma Gopi, to give left right and centre to Bhagya. He will be jumping at the chance now that he has an actual reason to, while supporting his 'Mama' in the process.
