Apne pairon pe kulhadi maarna...Vandana & Kunal

I'm making a new topic because the love story has just about started and I really hope the writers balance it out and give us a balance of love and drama. 

Why do I say..Apne pairon pe....

Both Kuvan are similar in one way...they trust their family and will never let them down when needed. However, their families take advantage of this particular trait of both of them. 

Kunal did that with Sonia, and brought her in ...and faced consequences.

Vandana brought in Mrunal giving Sonia as an example, and now she is facing consequences. 

In the bargain, both make themselves miserable. 

Their way of dealing with hurt is different. Vandana bounces back because she is a positive person. Kunal takes very long to process his hurt and deals with the aftermath badly. 

If they reduce Kunal's siwtch off switch on behaviour with Vandana, instead show him having conflicts about hurting her, they would make for a true love story of trracting opposites. 

Sigh!! Right now, it's too shaky and imbalanced. We need to see some emotional pull towards Vandana from Kunal. He does'nt  have it yet. If he has it, he is not willing to even acknowledge it. 

Completely agree! There is just no introspection or character development from Kunal at all which makes it very difficult to imagine any real emotions from him. The writers need to give us some perspective from Kunal side about his feelings toward Vandana.

Great post and you are very right. Kunal and Vandu are alike and people often take advantage of them.

If they came closer together then they could help each other more. Vandu is a calming mechanism for Kunal. She is the only one who can help him navigate and understand tough situations instead of getting angry and frustrated. Although he may show resistance, he listens to Vandu and values her opinion when dealing with family matters and business matters. 

Kunal is the help that Vandu so desperately needs. Often Vandu feels the need to bear everyone’s burdens so she is always stressed. Kunal is the only one who is able to ease her tension. If she would tell him what’s going on with her he would handle it relieving her from stress. But Vandu doesn’t open up to Kunal like she should. 

It will probably take 973 episodes for them to realize that they are each others strength. 

Agree with all of you, totally! K and V need to make a pact to trust each other regardless of how the situation might turn out - and K needs to stop bawling at V at the drop of a hat. He needs some time off from all the chaos in his life to actually introspect and figure out what he feels for her. 

Kunal needs to be more careful in what he says... There will be a time when he will regret everything and everyone will be leaving him
