- Helena was indeed step mom of Bindusara but an ironic fact is that Bindusara and Helena were in same age group one or two years plus or minus. Helena and Chandragupta Maurya had an age gap of nineteen years. She was his youngest wife. She wasn't villainous or scheming woman like showed in this show. Her children were not very old than Sushima.

- The lady who is mother of Sushima in this show is shown Greek. It's not true. Sushima mother's name is not written in history but she definitely would have been from a prestigious family as he was Crown Prince. Sushima's mother's identity is not known and therefore open for creative liberty.

- Greeks again are shown to have blonde hair in this show but ancient Greeks were not blonde. Their features resembled more like white arabs, Turks and north western fair Indians. Mediterranean features are not particularly white atleast not in ancient world. And Helena, wife of Chandragupta Maurya was half persian as Seleucus' wife Apama was Persian. Diana is a Latin name so it's entirely inaccurate. Her wig makes her look really funny.

- It's Karuwaki not Kaurwaki. Karuwaki was second wife of Ashok and mother of his son named Tivala. More than that nothing else is known about her. She wasn't favourite wife, Ashok's favourite wife was Asandhimitra, princess of Asandhivat where largest Stupa was built by Ashoka. Ashok loved her and more than that he respected her, so much so she used to preach him on theological matters and assisted him in managing empire and his harem. After Asandhimitra's death he mourned for days and found comfort in Asandhimitra's handmaiden Tisyarakshita who was an evil but dumb woman.

- Costumes are hideous in this show. Everyone who has seen the trailer would understand. No need to explain.

- Ashok and Bindusara's relationship is shown right. Bindusara indeed favoured Sushima and wanted him to succeed him till his last breath. In the scene where Bindusara is telling Dharma about that prophecy (changed by Subandhu) is actually real personality and history of Ashok. That one scene summons whole real history of Ashok.

- It's not like Bindusara couldn't see Ashok's face. Ashok wasn't handsome and he disliked this fact so he neglected him. Also his mom wasn't from a prestigious family and initially was a maid in harem as his queens made her so so that she couldn't meet Bindusara. His racist behaviour towards Ashok is covered up by showing false Kundali track. Bindusara by the time Ashok grew up wanted to get rid of him as he sensed he was becoming a threat to Sushima's succession, so he sent Ashok to Taxila but without weapons so he could perish there but historians also opine it may had been a conspiracy of Sushima instead of Bindusara or both were involved in it.
