BARC weekly trp numbers has not much to do with what we genuinely talk here about fiction shows..its a separate subject as its arrived with just few thousands of sample household TV sets across country every week,
and most of these samples are regular Star network viewers as they have better distribution outreach.
What actually affects is gross viewership which is in crores, both zeetv linear aka offline & zee5/YT online viewership for episodes is what that gets hit when characters, plots, execution, leads & promotions are made into a mess,
that too when family viewers have multiple choices of entertainment in recent years, with lower attention spans.
There are many daily serials with average to above average weekly TRPs that ran for longer periods, as their outreach & gross viewership might have been higher with controlled budgets with GECs not pulling them down or online premium viewership might have been higher.
E.g.
From my brief understanding Tata Sky Maharastra team can have its own data of how much % of their lakhs of paid subscribers say on 1st Feb have tuned Zeetv to watch KMTMG at 10pm on TV say within Mumbai central region, they can consolidate same data across state share it with Zee Maharastra sales & distribution teams.
Same thing Hathway, diginet, den etc. cable networks can also handle.
