Meanwhile MJ: fingers crossed the truth doesn’t come out. Withholds information that Rayyan went to Ayra’s room. She knows this happened. Not a peep from her. Invites the culprit over. Is irritated at Zaid throughout for prioritising assault of his wife over her 🤦🏻‍♀️

What is this behavior Badar 🤷‍♀️

Badar’s vision is also the issue here. It would have been the easiest thing in the world to make more tweaks and additions to justify Zaid MJ endgame but he never made those changes. Personally I’m not opposed to the endgame if this is the one he has in mind but he just needed to develop it a lot more which he didn’t. There’s a lot brushed under the rug. A lot that could be avoided. A lot added to MJ’s arc during the harassment situation. The continuity issues in the relationship are there. On paper it’s fine, but show it too na. Sell it to us 🤷‍♀️ But he didn’t bother to make the extra effort. The execution has been exceptionally lacking. Which is why the love story thing has just become a running joke

the potential in zaid MJ has always been there but neither the script supported it and neither Badar made enough changes. He barely gave us 10% which is like scratching the surface of the potential

Zaid - MJ made more sense to me than Zaid - Ayra ever did.

Rest, I will agree execution could have been better. Probably since I was invested in Zaid - MJ from the beginning, it still had some continuity for me. I kept feeling this is not about character award, it is simply about who is willing to give more in love and Ayra was always only demanding and kept getting worse, so it had to be MJ who actually showed growth in her feelings towards Zaid. Zaid also seemed to have a soft corner for her after that bullying episode to marry Ayra.

Zanjabeel really wrote Asif so powerful and the actor gave 101 pc, so the love story got overshadowed in his hatred for Ayra. Also the games between the two wives was the focus most other times.

Anyway, let's see what happens actually.

It's a temporary thing. Zaid is upset. He has reason to think she's involved. So he gets upset with her. It's natural for couples to fight under stress...whether they get back together after that is what we need to wait for ... It's not a small thing Zaid is going through.

MJ is not mature enough to understand his stress...hota hai...she's taking one step at a time, that's all. She's impatient since he seems lost to her. So naturally she will react frustrated.

Yes we'd have loved for her to grow by leaps, but she has just understood love.

And Badar wants to keep audience guessing so the max views he will get... ultimately that's what he wants.

But Zaid never gave MJ anything - not even peace of mind. Just insecurities, threats and not even feeling like a choice for him. Zaid’s focus was always Ayra. Even now she’s the focus for him and MJ is just getting rejected and rebuffed and taunted by him.

MJ changed but Badar could have shown that change to be genuine without tainting it with her plans against Ayra. Could have been easily avoided. The toxicity between them before (which I remember you attributed to hidden feelings, which was never the case) was too much for many to bear. This is not a healthy dynamic. Proven once again by Zaid’s changed attitude towards her post Turkey.

He’s a red flag through n through. Especially for her. Relationships go through many tests in life and I feel he is the kind of person to always take her for granted and treat her as his personal punching bag. Nothing has happened so far to make me believe in his growth regarding this.

I feel because of the lack of development and focus, it’s just forced when it didn’t have to be. A lot can’t be fixed or redeemed in one last episode.

Exactly. It’s probably a relationship in its basic infancy or even earlier than that lol. It’s not a mature relationship at all which is what the audience is complaining about - the growth has never been Badars priority so you can’t sell this as a love story when you didn’t even bother with it

No. Actually you're not seeing anything because you're focused only on Ayra.

Everything he gave Ayra after his wedding to MJ was because of guilt and some vestige of a dream he had. It was already hollow, because they both had betrayed their love story. It was easy because MJ was supposedly a stranger.

He had a soft corner because he knew she was taking a lot...just how much he has no idea and now he has forgotten in his anger...it was subconsciously there...they needed Turkey track to make him acknowledge he had something for her...it's too early, yes. But is it too early for him to risk losing her?

I think Badar decided to put Zaid through that test. On one side he has the Ayra he trusts and shares I love yous with...and on the other is MJ who has made a mark on him in some way despite her darkness...will he be able to ignore her, especially when she has bared her heart to him?

If she can sacrifice her feelings, for him to have an easier life, it's already bigger than what Ayra and Zaid ever had for each other.
