…Ok Lizzie.
..can’t stop listening to music. Nor can I be the cause of it either

Sam him today…incredibly gifted songwriter.
best part of these sessions are u get to hear upcoming releases of the songs they wrote by big artists but also some back stories and also unreleased pieces that still haven’t made it. …
So I went into the page and there was a link to just one song - Lessons.. the Album requires you to sign up.
I played it and the lyrics were so powerful, I nearly teared up. Hubby loved it too. He was especially caught up by the guy's voice. Tfs, KJ! I'll be going back to this one for sure.

Glad you liked it :)…He is incredible!!
he did play lessons. I so wish you were on telegram … I could share live videos from all this …We get there early and are on 2nd row in the middle …so the sessions are just amazing to watch. ..
So they speak about songs….process of writing …who they collaborating with and also some of them do some Q&A
They actually asked him ..why didn’t he chose to be a singer…and ofc he has released albums but his main profession is songwriter …and basically he said…he loves that… the creativity ….being able to perform helps him with that…
albums he released are because he felt he wanted songs that weren’t picked up were still good and needed to be there …
last week I went to a musician ka session…as u saw above. Tomorrow I am going to see another musician. She plays the fiddle.
I am definitely going to miss this when I head back. But getting as much as I can before I go back. :)

These words sorta describe me….got to stand up to bullies …and just learn from lessons :)…
Sunny bhai..listen to the videos I sent on telegram.…..
KJ, you are going back to a land that is so incredibly rich in music you'll never be bereft!
Aise fantastic artists hain India mein. And I love going to concerts by these lesser known musicians where they have informal gatherings - or mehfils as you call them - and just close your eyes and sink into the bliss. There is something very intimate about it. I have loved such concerts I've attended in India. Also, musicians from the South I've found are very very approachable and extremely humble, they'll stay and talk to you and answer your Qs patiently.
You won't miss it as much as you think you will

Aap ke mooh mein ghee shakkar …this is the only reason I wish sometimes I was a billionaire. …I would make the best music city in the world back there from ground up …
…..
You are right. The culture is rich. Music theatre etc. here it’s extremely accessible and frankly the community of musicians here is what makes it special. Mehfils are exactly what these are….capacity of the place is approx 200 only….so you can imagine how small the auditorium is …and it’s just fab…humility is what my friends and me have loved about all these artists. And btw some of these artists are Grammy award winners and several other awards …top chart songs and inductees of hall of fame etc….and u wouldn’t believe the humility they have…
We have even signed up for the free line dancing sessions coming soon. Take it all before I go …
Thank you sooo much! 🤗🤗🤗
