An early sight of spin. Wonder how much the previous over from Mukesh had to influence this

"Bazball is up and running…" hoots Fiaz Laghari, "won't be surprised if Eng almost equals India's first innings total by the end of the day."

A finely balanced game, but England have shaded this session. They bowled tight lines throughout the morning and made scoring tough for Ashwin and Jaiswal. James Anderson was metronomical with his bowling, while Jaiswal attacked the spinner from the other end to keep the runs flowing. He smoked a six followed by a four through deep backward square leg to get to his maiden double hundred in Test cricket. Ashwin got a jaffa from Anderson - one that pitched on middle and off and moved away late, to get an edge through to the keeper. Post that wicket, Jaiswal had to take the attacking option, and he charged out for a big slash against Anderson, only to slice it towards the deep cover fielder. Rehan Ahmed and Shoaib Bashir then cleaned up the tail quickly to restrict India under 400. In reply, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett have looked positive and assured to get England to 32 in the first six overs. A big session post Lunch coming up, join us in 30 minutes...
