I would disagree on 2 things.

Those outfits of Ruhi and Abhira were an eyesore for me. Secondly I don't really find any chenistry between Armaan and Ruhi.

Bold: Yes. That seems to be the case. Armaan over explaining it to Abhira about his actions in the cottage, him desperately wanting a reaction more like some kind of anger points towards his view regarding the deal marriage. Him wanting to dance with Abhira, literally begging her to dance and then leaving Ruhi's side the moment Abhira got hurt shows that he has grown attached to Abhira more than Abhira has to him.
