That shows that the reviews stand tall and the movie is actually for a certain section of the audience. And for a moment, it never looked like Top Gun, and everyone knows I am huge Tom Cruise fan, but I never thought about Maverick when I watched Shamsher, the only similarity was Shamsher losing NJ and Maverick losing Goose in the same mission and carrying the trauma and baggage of not being able to save their most favorite people, however the traumas are dealt in a different way and Hrithik is still Shamsher and nothing like Maverick.
