So this video is criticism against the film ?

KJo thinks he can make his "daughter" (and one of these days, I really want someone to dive into this relationship because there is something very creepy about an insecure grown man more or less adopting an even more insecure and troubled grown woman with serious daddy issues) a bigger star than Deepika but he needs to remember that only the public has this power. PR can only go so far, including inflating box office numbers and giving fake awards which the public has renounced now.

Just look at their debuts. Deepika starred in the biggest blockbuster of 2007, which without the Saawariya clash, could have been the first 100 crore movie ever. Anushka herself said that her launch one year later in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was nothing like Deepika because Deepika was made a star overnight and became a sensation with OSO. It was the female equivalent of Hrithik in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (another actor who has faced troubles with the industry not accepting him because his father was a minor actor). You-Know-Aloo got SOTY, widely considered KJo's worst film, in a flowerpot role. Whatever box office it did get was not because of Aloo but because of Sid and Varun. I was a teenage girl at the time this movie came out and I remember all the young girls like me went to see Sid and Varun because they were presented as this generation's heartthrobs. I don't remember any of us giving a damn about this baby-faced girl who was only there for us to play vicariously as we dreamed of being romanced by Sid or Varun. Filmfare didn't even give her the Best Female Debut, so low was her reputation.

When Zero came out, there were videos circulating about the actress cameo scene and which actresses got the biggest applause. The videos are all the proof that when Deepika came out, audiences in cinemas were giving her the loudest applause. You can guess which one get the least response. It wasn't Juhi, Sridevi and Karishma, or Kajol and Rani. Blatant product placement that KJo must have begged SRK to include her alongside these actual legends of the screen who audiences have loved and worshipped for decades.

I think he had nowhere else to go when he started associating with Karan because honestly the entire network is in his hands. Even the south directors and film makers approach him to reach out to the actors. He made himself the focal point of Bollywood. Even Vicky, Ayushmann were trying to get chummy with him at the same time but Karan only took fancy to Ranveer because he was flying high at that time. They are all fair weather ‘friends’. The only constant for Karan is first Ranbir and then Alia.

First Animal....then Slb....then Filmfare. Sadma after Sadma. Not sure what I'm enjoying more the absolute Meltdown or the Cammaderrie between the fans of Ranbirs Exes. Either way...it's Glorious. 🤣

Only in KJo and You-Know-Aloo's minds. They are not even remotely equivalent. One is a genuine star, who the masses made into an overnight star with OSO, and another is one who has KJo serving as her PR and claiming Raazi was the first box office hit with a solo heroine. What an insult this is when you consider that in the 80s/90s, Sridevi and Madhuri were genuine box office stars with billing even over the big male stars of the time. Sridevi's stature was that audiences always knew whenever she had a movie coming out, especially her solo heroine films, that it was something worthy and to be watched. That's not even considering others who followed in these footsteps like Urmila, Rani, and Vidya. Rani is the only actress to have her own franchise with Mardaani 3 coming out next, yet we're supposed to believe KJo's inflated box office numbers for Raazi lol?

I doubt Deepika has a high opinion of either of them. She's made it known that there are only a handful of people she genuinely likes and trusts in the industry like SRK and Rohit Shetty. And we know even SRK has heavily distanced himself from KJo and refused to let him launch Aryan or Suhana.

suhana do interact and parties with Karan johar and orry. Aryan do have mutual friends with orry. Before kwk episode deepika looked so highly of Karan johar and Alia. As of know she is having more professional with them. The more distance the better. Deepika should had learn from Srk Karan johar fall out.

Suhana and Aryan all hang out with the star kids, most of whom are chummy with KJo. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Suhana wants to work with KJo and be part of that gang of girls. It's SRK who is probably saying no. Aryan at least seems to be open about not wanting to act but direct. I'm sure KJo would be glad to give him a chance, but SRK seems to be very clear that this is not a possibility either.

I think Deepika is just very good about being professional and not showing her true feelings. If she's being invited to Karan's show, she isn't going to be rude to him (like Kangana was lol) because she's also aware of what power and influence he has. She may not need his power and influence but perhaps Ranveer does? Similarly she cannot be rude to Alia since that will tick off KJo. But just the way Karan uses KWK to present Animal and Bride of Animal as this perfect power couple whereas DeepVeer gets slammed for being more honest and open than a philandering alcoholic and his stepford "I can tolerate physical infidelity" wife is further proof that KJo has no one's best interests in mind besides his "daughter." KJo was not even loyal to SRK, making false claims that he would never make a movie without SRK, only to make SOTY. That plus when he liked a negative post about SRK's Zero and SRK had to publicly beg audiences to forgive KJo's "fat fingers" when everyone knew the truth. This is a habit with KJo and not a good one since he's a public figure.

Reminds me of when JK Rowling used to like anti-trans posts on social media before she came out as a terf/transphobe. At the time she apologized and claimed it was a middle-aged mistake or some nonsense like that but it wasn't long before she openly came out as a transphobe so with people like this, it's their pattern to just pretend they never meant to like derogatory posts. They just try to claim it was a mistake when really the only thing they regret is getting caught.
