Well....not everyone wants to define their career by just looks & dancing skills. Some actors actually want to "Act"......crazy, I know. So when they get a chance at an unusual role with a lot of scope of performance...they lap it up. Others keep trying to find new ways to look "Hot" at 50. 
but the problem is that Animal glorified the character and his behaviour, so no Animal will not help society. A movie which shows such a character being punished for his behaviour and having consequences will help society, instead Animal presented the character as some charming hero trying to protect his father. Yes someone can remain hot at 50s and someone has to borrow sanjay dutt's wig and biwi's nude lipsticks to look like an alpha at 40 years old
