Vidya liked Ruhi so wanted to actually send the proposal for Armaan but as soon as she shared her wishes with DragonSa, she asked her to take the proposal for Rohit instead as Rohit is DragonSa's fav.
Even being conservative family they did not mind Rohit getting married first such is their hypocrisy .It just shows where Armaan stands in their family.
Rohit was not at home initially but later when he came home from college, he was sent to the Goenkas with sweets on Diwali. There Rohit saw Ruhi and fell in instant love/liking. Later Vidya told him that they would like Ruhi to be his wife and he did not mind.

I don’t know who the other actress but she did a wonderful job portraying an older Akshara. Samridhi and her had great chemistry as mother and daughterQuestion did Aks give birth to Abhira before the 22 years leap. If that’s the case then Abhira is 22, if not then counting pregnancy she didn’t then technically Abhira is 21 years old
