I did start watching killer soup , only watched like 15 minutes and its funny. Ekdam one piece couple hai dono. smiley36

Watched 3 of us, what a beautifully made movie. Its a kind of movie that stays with you, so poignant , heart warming and heart breaking at the same time. The movie is really slow, the entire movie moves ekdam tasalli se. There is not a moment where you feel like you are watching a movie, they are all so natural. Its so difficult to describe it, you just have to experience it. I have not seen it but just to put th8ngs in perspective it is directed by the guy who directed pataal lok for anushka's ph..in dorector's adda he said he is a fan of sai pranajpe amol palekar kind of cinema and wanted to do somethinf in that space but the advice was it won't work and all and then he did pataal lok in the covid and some personal things happened he was tolf against making this cinema market and then he went no if not now then when and that he needed that kind of peaceful depiction as pataal lok was kaafi heavy. You should totally check all the work that was discussed on directors adda and actors adda i camnot waot to talk more quality films in detail with you guys

The music is so sparingly used which makes the scenes more impactful. Watching the movie invoked a kind of feeling you would have while going through your old albums and reliving those happy memories.

This role was tailor made for Shefali Shah and she excelled it, Jaideeps portrayal of Pradeep made me realize the depth he has as an actor. Special mention to how they portrayed the role of their husband and wife respectively, they were adorable.

Konkan was smiley27. The cinematography was breathtaking and direction was top notch.

Yet to finish killer soup so far so good even if epi 5 kind of starts feeling like now we are stretching things but still as engaging and every epi has some kind of twist that keeps you going..what I am liking eso is the mix of languages ..gives very natural touch and not made up like the Tamil actors speaking in Tamil in a hindi show..

They have really toned down on the garish effects they showed in RK, where these demons were hilarious to watch and brought down the viewing pleasure. As you said the actor playing Tadka was really good.

The way Ram says Maa ( there was something so compelling) draws Tadka out of her Rakshas avtar and she just tells him about everything that happened. There is no accusation or pre conceived notion when Ram talks with any person and it comes through in his demeanor. I am liking this approach of the show in depicting Ram.

I think the speed/pace is like this cuz they are showing one hour epis daily from Mon-Fri....so they've already kind of shown a month's worth of epis in just two weeks. Also seems like they've shot a lot of the show in advance so they are able to edit the epis in a crisp manner with the focus on each chapter they are showing rather than doing timepass filler convos or scenes.....SKR mein yehi hota tha to drag the story...a lot of times they had repetitive or slow motion scenes or boring convos of side characters that I frankly wasn't interested insmiley36.....also they didn't show Raavan's development in parallel as well as they are showing in this show....wahaan it felt like Raavan just popped over for the Swayamwar directly....lol

It was so cool and nicely done. I even liked the designs of the astra. smiley36 Even I don’t remember seeing anything like this. Lol I also liked that one, “ jo apna nishaan saadh ke vaapis aa jate hai” kind. smiley36

LOL that quiver of arrows was I think some Indra related boon that these arrows always find their mark and then return back to the quiver....basically meaning you never run out of arrows in that quiver I guesssmiley36.....and yes I also found the designs of each astra interestingsmiley36

I liked that in Shiv- Shakti too, its something different and refreshing to see. It was done so nicely, even I got excited while they were performing and felt like the audience in Mithila. Curious to know what happened and how. smiley36Was the Sinhaasan at Mithila court carved out of a big giant tree?? The camera moved away quickly so I was wondering if it was an outside court or the inside. smiley3 That was interesting design.

LOL arey Mithila waalon ka palace/court is all just a reworking of the RK setsmiley36.....they are using the courtyard areas jahaan woh big tree hota tha center mein....that used to pass for the main market jahaan all the dancing all used to happen - I think Holi waale sequences wahaan shoot kiye the. All they've done is add a few props here and there and close up shots/lighting adjust karke usko Mithila dikhaa rahe hainsmiley36

I watched 3 of us today......it's a nice film and has that sweet/languid feel to it but overall I felt it was a bit slow for me.

The visuals of Konkan were lovely, no doubt and very nice performances from the cast too....but overall they kind of left the movie feeling a bit vague in some ways....

The part I connected to the most was Pradeep and his wife's relationship....such an adorable couplesmiley27....that scene when he presents her the "rishwat" in the end and she is so touched....loved that moment.

Some scenes stand out for their subtlety and touching lines.....the ferris wheel is one such obvious one....also the scene when Pradeep writes the Udgam poem for Shailaja.....I also liked Shailaja's convo with Pradeep's wife in the yard when she tells her that she left all excuses behind to make this trip happen.

Performance wise I wouldn't say there were a great amount of layers for anyone to perform....but I did like Jaydeep more in this film than Jaan e jaan...and it's probably cuz of the subtlety and sweetness of the character of Pradeep itself.

Thanks for your review .I haven't seen this one probably the only one from the roundtables and idt I do plan too either Caz the promo itself was a little too slow and mundane for me but glad that it was good Caz it did had a serene feel to it. I fully beleive you about jaydeep's performance as we have talked before jaan e jaan itself was underwhelming for me .

Koi jagga aisi nahi jisse gul ne thagga nahismiley37 and the fact that 15 years later she is still just rehashing IPK..literally the same shit dumb heroine being secretary doing dumbshit and wooden hero..literally that fashion show the lift scene look from ip and beech main chopper cats bhaiyon ka bakwaas daal ke spin off of ib bana do as in the main bhai as the center and unka male kichhadi bana do and then ittrao hin toh naya karte hain lmao Maaf karo re baba. Also with each remake keep going cheaper and cheaper on your casting like with is even this gal..itna chichundar face and itna impact less ek dum chaiwali hi lag rahi hai set pe rehne Wali.. heroine Wali koi baat nahi..the only new tadka gul madam has in this is yahaan web pe apne 50 shades fantasies more openly dikha sakti hai toh aaj kal ka fandoms will lap it up

Awww that reminds me I wanted to gif these 2 so much too but darn I keep pushing things..more than taking caps or getting time out to gif it is frustrating to then keep optimizing and deleting frames to downgrade the quality for me that takes forever and I have to keep redoing then over and over and over again and it pisses me off..idk how other people do it..no wonder a lot of people have moves away from photos hop but I am kinda illeroterate and dumb in learning new apps too naahi I have any knowledge lahan haaon kya karoon.. the people are not even helpful now to give tutorials for free like it used to be sigh

Sorry for the rant sis but it kept building up for so long Caz it is real frustration
