Don't forget Wahaj gets paid for the number of words he speaks in an episode. 🤭 He will stand there as a prop the whole episode, get cut off in some scenes...all that is muft. 🤣 Each word he utters on the screen costs them lakhs.

But at least they should show his eyes and facial expressions properly! In today's episode also when MJ said 'tumhare saath khane waala bhook lag Raha hai', his eyes warmed instantly - should have given us a close up. Or it was the wrong lighting. He is seriously wasted, l literally zoom my screen to get their mico expressions correctly, still fail miserably, because those are not shot to be seen by the audience

Yes that's what I felt. There was this longing and he looked into her eyes for a long time and then left. I hope they show some sort or proper backstory or dialogues to have something to look for ..

But I wonder why he never takes a double look when she dresses? May be bcz he is used to it..

I agree he said it in one line but it was just implying something, indirect confession. You don't actually know this train of thoughts regarding her be it past or present. So I think they should give him a monologue where he thinks about Mubashira and his unrequited love and how it is resurfacing now

What was dumb ayra thinking by doing something that stupid? She thinks she can get away with it?

She has been going after daddy hottie and irritating the sh*t out of him even when he tries to walk away and not fight with her.

Till then they had so many scenes together...each interaction was interesting to watch from Zaid's side, knowing he's trying to bury a love story and his family was shoving it on his face. Seriously...it was quite obvious. Many times I have said Ayra is just a love story he designed to get over MJ ...that's how robotic it was. 🤭

Past few episodes have been rubbish.

Key points are still there.

What made him hate her? She was a story he was trying to forget and they forced it on him,over the love story he had designed. He was not going to walk that path again.

What made him change? He watched her keenly, threw situations at her and saw she was adapting and he had to appreciate that.

Through all this, he was keeping his end of the promise to Ayra - though I call it robotic, he was hundred percent invested in it.

What made him confess? It was becoming impossible to hide the happiness he felt in her presence...if she learnt to adjust for him, he learned to forgive her and be fair to her at least...

He confessed he's scared to let go of his guard...

What will heal that part of it?

If a story had to drag me back to IF after ages like another one I was invested in so long back...the concept and core writing of Mein is very distinct from TB or MPHT...minus all the crap they are showing now, if they had focused on the love story...and probably needed to be more vocal about it than confuse with Ayra ..see even I'm confused every other minute if they will make Ayra end game - that amount of twisting certainly distracts from the love story...it's a lesson the writer has to learn.

There was also that scene between Zaid and MJ sitting and talking on the bed after their Valima that comes to mind. Zaid asks MJ (something to the effect of) why girls say one thing and do another thing the next minute. I kind of felt like he was saying it to her too. Maybe he thought he was getting mixed signals from her? And then he immediately gets upset saying he doesn’t need her or her sympathy.

Hence I can give y’all storylines for Mein but find it tough to write for the leads

The 1st episode itself was the biggest indication. Zaid protected her at the party, from the bloggers and from Muhib. That was too much coincidence for a guy who wasn’t even supposed to attend the function in the first place.

I like it when dramas/films springs a surprise and suddenly you’re piecing things together, creating/justifying your own theories.That mystery factor just makes it way more interesting than characters just laying out everything in monologues. Since they’ve spilled the surprise, I’m itching for a bit more backstory- either through monologues/conversation/flashback scenes. I hope they do!
The biggest drawback of Mein is their technical team- cinematographer,editor,sound engineer n the director!! If the director had set up/staged the scenes better,the cinematographer allowed moments to linger and the editor took it slow with the cuts- the characters’ and scenes’ intent would’ve been much clearer to a broader audience.

I prefer the background score used on the show. It gives a tragic feeling and unrequited love is always tragic.
