From what I have read, in many Indian shows they do show that the husband is supportive of the wife. Even that diya and bati show he was illiterate but love and supported Sandhya. I haven't seen YRRKKH much but from what I have read, Naitik is supportive of Akshara. They tend to show mutual support between the leads. I think Om/ Parvathy were supportive ion each other as well. I read somewhere, when they first started creating indian TV shows in early 2000s - they intended to base lead couples on Ram- Sita / Shiv - Parvathy. Mutual love & respect. From what I have seem, most of the times the issue of the bahu is with in-laws.

Zaid is so assertive with MJ! He's so clear when he asks her not to butt into his and Aira's issues. Where does this assertiveness go with his dad? He lets Asif walk all over him.

Aira was so annoying in this episode. She's hell bent on sabotaging her life. She kept thinking about her bhabhi's words about trying to make amends with Asif and then in the morning she goes and sits on his chair And then she hounds him and doesn't let him eat Nice way to make amends

And then she ends up in Fakkar group again and she went in Asif's car cab le leti behen

Aira keeps getting good advice..but she brushes it away..first from Bhabhi and now from Fakkar Saab.

And finally..Aira has fallen from grace by trying to frame Asif. She should have known that he's going to be 10 steps ahead of her.

I think Aira's end is close.

That is sort of true in most Pak shows, but I think Ayra's problem when she came in late was - she did'nt even bother to call her husband. I think even a wife would get angry if a husband came in late and didn't bother to call or message about their whereabouts.

In that office case it was definitely not because she was working late. Zaid always admired her for her independence and he always took her tantrums and let her walk all over him. He is extremely giving whereas she just takes. I think that was a build up of her working in a rival company. Nothing to do with late working. Also he didn't force her to stop working there. He was still ok.

Husband supporting wife's career is running theme in all Indian dramas and dramas like Mein where in laws are against Bahu working are topping TRP charts here both Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein and YRKKH have similar story as Mein right now but the reaction of audience and narrative is polar opposite. However the career is limited to a plot point, ultimately female lead will sit at home fighting with head of the family like Ayra does

Ayra isn’t petty. Let's rewind to the day she said "yes" to this whole marriage thing. Did that scene scream normal in any way? She was in it for payback after her brother's death. Sure, there were moments when her love for Zaid resurfaces but the hate she carries for his family is on another level. It's like a messy mix of emotions playing out in their relationship.The deep-seated hate she has for his family kind of overshadows her love for him.

She actually thought getting her friend to act like his second wife and spreading rumours will harm Asif , the man is viper he will swallow her for this - from promo it looks like the friend will be arrested.

I just don’t get what she wants ?

Zaid - She is loosing her biggest ally, if Zaid had a thing for MJ her antics will push him more towards MJ

Revenge - These antics look childish

Punish asif for what he did to her and her family , make him accountable- she could have asked Zaid to divorce MJ and married Zaid , cutting off his only son is bigger punishment.

The char is confusing and unfortunately the actress playing Aira doesn’t evoke emotions , where u want to root for her . I used to watch behadh , Jenifer Winget was brilliant and u wanted Maya to win even when hero was such a dud - both char and actor.

You summed it up. If Ayra would have even put half the effort Zaid did it, I could still support her. Today another thing...when Zaid told MJ main tumko kuch khilata hu, it reminded me of Ayra and Zaid's lunch date. We didn't get to see Zaid and MJ's but I am sure it went a hundred times more better than the one with Ayra

Yes the actors also matter. For example Kashmala also married a red flag and she knew he was a red flag but Sabeena isn't that bad an actor. Not the best, but she fits the role which is why I don't hate the character. Same goes for Rayaan. Azekah is just so thakela and frozen that I forward her bits.

@bold: Arey the First Look promo we had got. This one...isme see how Zaid looks at her and MJ is in her own world. Now it feels they were hinting towards the past with the outdoor sequence and when they show them in white its present day.

Totally agree with everything.. Kashmala is quite convincing as a naive, pampered and in love woman.

Haan definitely when he says Kuch khilata hun, it must be better than Ayra date. MJ wants his company, his attention. So she will go with his choices as well now and then. Ayra toh has to play mind games during a simple meal as well..

Haan promo me he is looking towards her but she is not. Then present mein they are distant.. Hmm! Interesting. But will they execute it properly? I doubt

Also title track line says "Mujhe AB nahi zaroorat teri" means they had past and trying to show that ab present me zaroorat nahi
