For people who have been watching Imlie before, how was the show popularity before Gen3. I know Sumbul - FK jodi was quite popular but I feel Gen3 for some reason is not getting adequate name even when the actors have scorching chemistry. I feel lack of SBS/B content is also adding on for this. On Twitter there are new fans who are appreciating the jodi and the scenes but it is very less. How is the buzz on IG ?

I totally get that whatever is popular on SM does not mean the TRP audience likes them but just enquiring for clarity.

Now much popularity on instagram too. The time to gain popularity has gone now. A show gets popular either from the very beginning or when the leads marry for the first time .

But compared to season 2 , this season has still got some hype. Season 2 had almost nil hype

Yes that is what I see on Twitter. Gen2 ka there is no whisper at all. If you type in Imlie tag either you get FK - Sumbul ke clips or some GM - Sumbul ke clips or you get Imlie3 ke clips. There is hardly any clips whatsoever of Gen2.

I do see new edits coming on Twitter and new people joining in - especially doing VM mixes on beautiful songs. But the show never features in most talked about show on SM polls. Hence wondering.

I was thinking maybe lack of SBS/B content is hindering the SM buzz. I know when Sumbul - FK were in Imlie there was steady SBS/B segments every single day. I have hardly seen any SBS/B segments for the new gen. Wonder why Gul is not getting SBS/B on sets to increase the SM buzz.

bold: Budget issues maybe. They may not have enough money to promote. You see how the costumes of leads get repeated every alternate week. They even do the same type of floral decoration in every function. All are techniques of cost cutting

Cost cutting hai toh pack off the excess characters who aren't contributing to the trp or story and stand in the background.

Keep a good focus on Agastya and Imlie in every episode. Trp aayegi toh income will also increase.

Yes there is no need to have Karan standing there in the family scenes when the creatives have dropped Karan - Bulbul ka angle like a hot potato. And Mannu bua is also hardly given any scenes.
