But Abhira is a bit realistic in my opinion. Khushi too became a doormat for a while and never actually punished Arnav for what he put her through.

Khushi was entertaining and her antics were funny. It's true she was gullible, allowing Arnav to manhandle her numerous times . At that time, I was captivated by the OST and the chemistry between the leads. I didn't delve much into the story. While I acknowledge that Arnav's actions were problematic, I believe he redeemed himself towards the end. Khushi also developed a spine to fight for herself but i agree she was a doormat. If IPK were to air now, I doubt I could accept or defend characters like Arnav or Khushi, even if portrayed by Barun and Sanaya.

I also don't like naira comparisons to abhira. Naira was much more like Sai. She was fierce and strong but not a sunshine. Abhira is a sunshine. For me closest comparison to abhira is Zoya from the itv I've watched. Both are sunshine intelligent educated and fierce and incredibly lovable

And i feel it's mainly because uski family mein kisi ko uski padi nahi hain, "armaan hain toh teek nahi hain to bhi teek" Poddars ke attitude aisa hain except rohit. And i have always felt that's why rohit is dear to him. Abhi abhira bhi usi zone mein aa rahi hain, & it seems like he enjoys it.

I hope you are referring to QH wali Zoya and not Zoya siddiqui from Bepannah. I never liked Zoya haider she was too irritating at times

But bechare ke sath sabhi to aisa hi behave karte hai fufa ho , dadi ho , sare cousins ho ,Vidya bhi waisa hi karti hai, Ruhi ho sab use guilt trio karte hai.
