Would Zero have been a bigger hit if it was still Katrina Mere Jaan?

Zero was originally titled Katrina Mere Jaan and focused on her before SRK became a part of the movie. Katrina would have played herself rather than a satirical take on an actress. Would the film have been a success had it not been revamped?
