Is Deepika Padukone a miscast for Fighter?

New year, new wishes.  My wish was to see Deepika with Hrithik, but she looks so odd with him.

There is no chemistry and it is artificial.  Could we have seen another heroine instead?
Shraddha, Kriti, even Alia would have been good choices!

Kriti? Lol. 

We can only judge that after watching the movie. I too agree that her chemistry with HR is kinda off, but that would be moot if she has a story and the arc of a female airforce pilot independent of the male protagonist in the movie...

Let's see if she has an impactful role and if she will be able to do justice to it...

Its just that the chemistry between hrithik and her seems complete thanda. Dull and boring. That didnt work for the songs or for the movie as well.
