If there are more bad things around, in other words, she implies she better not be aware of it. [At least that's how i understood it.]

And yes, they wont show Nimrit in Shekhawats (non existent) house.. I wrote that in quotes - implying Babita's belief (if you were referring to it).

Mujhe toh laga bohot raaz hai abhi, Ahujas ke taraf se, that we are not aware of.

On today's eps:

I loved how they used to do all the Bidaai Rasam with Rajeev, the first time I saw it on ITV (minus the laal pairon ke nishaan). I had never seen this before.

Virat regretting is a treat to watch and his thank you, haye! Plus their cutting chai moment smiley27

Now, Bebe, yaar, Am I the only one confused with this woman? I thought Babita was crazy and complex to understand but jaisi Maa waisi Beti!!! When she stopped Babita at the Mandhir I thought she knew it was the right thing and the boys were absolutely right lakin when they reached home, what she told Babita confused me.

So basically, Dildar Uncle became a ghar jamai because the latter parents were not worth it or what??? Babita sasural kyun nahin gaye??? Again, kaise ban gaya woh ghar jamai? Unke parents nahin te kya? We need more details.

That there is - around Virat and why they had to move to Mumbai. Also possible that she was referring to those. Way i took it was 'Its better if I dont see anything bad anymore - and anyone who does that has bad intentions'. Sounds matching with her pov about Rajeev not changing because of what he did / who he is.

Dildar - I am guessing was a small businessman (there was some ref to it in that first function - before Sanjana falling down scene). Probably fell in love with Babita and since they had more money than him, likely that Bebe agreed on the condition that he be a ghar jamai.

I also liked her monologue with Harsh - the tone was pretty dominating elder sis like.

flutterby - does seem like the scene is important - if it happened so. Else the impression Virat and co have is that Babita only supports Nimrits decision. But like you said, can also be the actors impression of what happened - not something that is actually shot. (and ... may be better if it is so.)

I went back to see the scene again. Babita only says that she allowed Nimrit to elope. She didn't say anything about instigating/encouraging Nimrit to marry Rajiv. I genuinely don't see whether the Ahujas’ (especially Dildaar and Virat) opinion of her(Babita) will change if they know of the instigation. Maybe in the future, when Nimrit is troubled/tortured to an extent by Rajiv, the matter can come up, hopefully they will be blinded with rage. Not now. smiley1

why did you edit your 2nd para/line? smiley38 You said something nice about Sriti.. that touched my heart and now, it isn't there. smiley18 I think from past episodes, (from what I was able to understand) Dildaar was a hard-working businessman who worked and brought home money only for it to be splurged away by his brothers(don't know how many). Plus Bebe also gave him gold or finances, plus Babita’s maika seem richer than Dildaar. Hence he agreed to be a ghar jamai. Plus he genuinely loved Babita, he agreed to everything blindly (to escape his brothers’ greed).

I think they both (Babita and her mother) are complex characters, both delusional and blinded by the glam of money. They think money and marriage can solve everything, be it emotional problems, medical problems or marital ups and downs. So am just tolerating them in the show, fast forwarding their snobbish scenes, and taking great pleasure in their emotional ones. Like I mentioned to Adiandsid, Dildaar’s troubles with his brother (brothers?!) made him or (rather Babita’s force) cut ties with them. And his love for Babita, bebe’s gold made him become a GJ.

Sorry about that. Yeah.. deleted cause thought i should tone down the praise. But i'll elaborate a bit here.

Love to see how Sriti handles her voice and tone when her character is talking with different characters - one after the other. The scene outside where she shows the video about Rajiv was a mini example but was an exaggerated one because of the circumstances. There was an even better one in the later stages of kkb 2yrl.. where she talks with the service person, then Sushma, then Dadi, then Mithali, and think one of Alia/Tanu and the voice/ tone she uses with each one of them is different. In a way not a big deal since we do same thing naturally in our day to day lives, but to bring that in a character and still sound and be Pragya - i found was really good. One could 'hear' who's where in her life just from listening to the tone of her voice.

Seeing tweets about the coffee date turning out to be a double date. No idea about the source of that info. As is the pattern, did expect Virat to at least call her for work during the date. No idea how Viru-Sanju will end up in the same place.

btw... Sanju has been in the bg of almost all the drama that has happened in the A house since she came in. And she is still around - even she never had the thought, presumably, that this family is too complicated. smiley36
